Dr. Michael Stephen Mcguire, MD

He told me it was just cartilage going away, due to age. Got cortisone shot. Other injection. Pain got worse and worse. Went to another doctor for 2nd opinion. Kneecap out of place. After a year of 24/7 pain, had Lateral Release surgery. Pain is GONE. Can put weight on knee. After therapy I should be fine.

Paperwork completed, xrays taken and discussed. Dr McGuire was very professional and I am in the process of obtaining surgery clearance.

Had a torn ACL and Dr. McGuire has been excellent through the entire pre and post surgery process. Highly recommend.

After months of worrying and wondering what was the cause of pain to my knee, my primary care referred me to Las Cruces Orthopedics and I got the best of care, time was taken to explain what was the underlying cause of the pain and my options for treatment were explained. I chose the least invasive, I was made to feel that I had made a great choice. I was grateful for their understanding, being a widow and living alone, surgery is not an option. Outstanding physician and surgeon! He does not jump the gun on surgery, but when it was time, he was thorough and responsive. I had other out of town options for surgery and am totally thrilled that I chose to have him do it!

I WAS EXACTLY WHAT TYPE OF INJURY THAT I HAD AND GIVEN SEVERAL OPTIONS. PRIOR TO SURGERY I WAS TOLD EXACTLY WHAT WAS GOING TO BE DONE. HAD LIMITED USE OF MY RIGHT ARM. HERE I AM TWO WEEKS AFTER SURGERY AND FEEL THAT I COULD PITCH A NO HITTER. THE ENTIRE CLINIC IS SUPER!!!!!

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. McGuire, but instead was seen by the Physician's Assistant. I have been told this is a very common practice by this group. I received a steroid injection in my knee which completely wrecked my knee. I am now scheduled for total knee replacement in El Paso, Texas. The other problem with this practice is the $50 charge for missing an appointment.

Very long wait time in examining room. Doctor is more interested in new MRI than existing patients. Had 2 recent bad experiences with Dr. McGuire. Finally went to Dr Sweetser for my surgery.
