I had my follow-up to my total knee replacement of my right knee. I was pleased to learn I am doing quite well, that my x-rays came out well, and that I can now resume driving. As with my first appointment and my surgery, Dr. Slimack and his staff were welcoming, professional, pleasant and caring. I feel fortunate to have them as my Orthopedic Care Team!

Dr Slimack and his team are outstanding! I highly recommend them for a hip surgery should you ever find yourself needing one! Their compassion and quality of care and procedure done exceeded my expectations! Not 1 question went unanswered! I was totally prepared before and after surgery with instructions to take home! They followed up with a phone call the next day after I was home to check and make sure I was doing okay! Thank you so much to Dr Slimack, my nurse Katie who was with me before surgery prepping me and after surgery in recovery, and his whole team!

After experiencing increasing knee pain for 10 years, I decided more needed to be done. I eventually found my way to Comprehensive Orthopedics and to Dr. Slimack, who immediately understood the issues after seeing my x-rays and supported the decision to have surgery (total knee replacement), despite being in my 40s. His own joint replacement experience informs his patient support, and that is invaluable. I wasn't pressured into a decision, and after being strung along and dissuaded by another provider finally felt I was on my way to what was needed to fix my joint pain. The results almost 3 weeks after surgery have been life changing! The outpatient option at Wisconsin Specialty Surgery Center is amazing, and the calls and check-ins I received assured me that they were invested in my results. Dr. Slimack, Natalie and his entire team are highly recommended for excellent care for joint replacement!

Of course nobody wants to have to have a major surgery but I am extremely glad I went to you to have it done . I know you did an excellant job and between you and the great nursing staff going above and beyond making me feel at ease and so well informed,it was actually pretty enjoyable ????and as far as recommending you ,I would do that to friends, family or even strangers ! Thanks again for taking such great care physically and mentally, I will be seeing you again in a few months to do other knee .
