Michelle was the best medically provider I ever had, my heart was broken when she could no longer accept my insurance. I highly recommend her for anyone looking a very knowledgeable, caring physician !

Upset that I was not informed that as of Jan.1,2020 Dr.Morrison no longer accepts CIGNA insurance. I received a letter from CIGNA informing me that as of Sept.2020, she will no longer accept CIGNA!!

Loving and caring staff

I've been a patience with Dr. M. Morrison for over 15 yrs. I was taken to her by a friend after my primary doctor at the time kept telling me that I was tired and needed rest. I continued to tell him, what I was feeling was unusual. Dr. Morrison examined me right away & diagnosed me with a thyroid problem. If she had not, I would not be here today, my heart was beating so fast & hard I could see & hear it in my ears. She didn't let me leave her office until my heart slowed down and I had an appointment with an Endocrinologist. (Blessed) Now I must agree with some of the other comments about her phone service, it is frustrating trying to get someone to answer, even when leave a message for them to call back you're playing phone tag. I would think that after so many years the service would be better, but its not. but again I stay because of Dr. Morrison NOT the staff.

I scheduled 2 appointments with this office and waited approx. a month or so for the appointment date to arrive. The day of the appointment, I provided my driver's license and insurance card to the front desk upon arrival and proceeded to have a seat to complete a set forms. Soon after being seated, I was called back to the front desk and was informed the office does not accept 'Humana Market Place insurance". I asked the young lady, why was I not informed of this information when I scheduled the 2 appointments approx. one month ago. She stated "We have new employees and they probably did not know." There did not appear to be any consideration for the fact that I provided the information in advance of the appointment, the length of I time I waited for the appointment, the commute to the office or whether I had taken time off from work to attend this appointment. In addition, it felt insensitive to be told that the office does not accept Humana Market Place insurance. There were several missed opportunities to identify this insurance plan was not accepted by this office.I would recommend that the new office staff is trained so they may identify this sort of issue upfront, the preceptors of the new office staff validate they are performing as expected, the office staff who calls to confirm the appointments validate with the other team members the customer's insurance is accepted by the office, the front desk staff develops a better script to inform customers' that their insurance plan is not accepted by this office and the office' automated call system is updated so the customer that did not receive any services does not receive a call the day after a scheduled appointment to inform them that it has been more than a year since their annual exam and to call the office to schedule an appointment. As a customer, I will make sure to do my due diligence to ensure a Provider is in network with my Market Place plan as well.

Wonderful bedside manner

I have had firsthand, and also for a patient I recommended, experience of Dr. Morrison and her staff going out of their way to accommodate our emergency. I did not feel uncomfortable because I had disrupted the schedule and Dr. M gave me her undivided attention when it was my turn. Her follow up and recommendation were on point. We were happy we chose her to take care of us!

Left the visit depressed...not because of a diagnosis, but my welfare was not a priority. The insurance company came first...I was not permitted to ask a question re my test results.. I will have to try the internet to get a clue about my test results since, because of the ins. company, the doc cannot help ease my anxiety about them...

Dr. Morrison is an exceptional doctor

Dr. Michele A. Morrison, MD diagnosis my health issue and was precise on the medication needed to help improve my condition. I've been dealing with this issue for 5 years and no doctor was able to pin point the matter til now. Thank you for all of your help! ;-)

I thought, I had found a great new doctor but you if are not feeling well or have a medical complaint - appointments are at least 2 months out. You could be dead by then. Although, Dr Morrison appeared to be a great physician, I don't understand how the front desk 'Miguel' gets away with not following up. I assume they have more then enough patients to keep the payroll flowing so no need to accommodate new patients. Looks like I will have to shop for a new doc and I suggest you don't even bother trying this office.

On numerous occasions it took over 10 minutes to get to an actual staff member for different reasons (needed appointment, needed refill, etc.). Have been trying for days to get a refill on a prescription which we are now out of because of they have not sent in our refill. Their message says that it would be filled by the end of the day. We are still without medication. Dr. Morrison, when finally able to get an appointment and see her, is highly trained and professional, but her office staff and etiquette seems as if they could careless about their patients. I am highly annoyed with their office.

Phone system is obsolete. Office staff needs training. Human beings should operate the phones not electronic machines. Who needs a doctor who you cant contact and refuses/never call you back.

Professional Staff. Experienced, sincere and caring caring. Looks at the whole patient and not at just the presenting symptoms. Family Doctor for life!

Making an appointment starts with an automated system and is an automated system even when speaking with staff. The impression is that 'the doctor doesn't need you as a patient'. If you are looking for professionalism, empathy, courtesy or a caring comforting approach to your sensitive medical needs there is definately need for concern in if this practice can deliver. The attitude of office staff is one of prejudice and judgement in speaking to a patient as a part of a collective group and not an individual. No apologies here for even an error they may make. Such a shame, the doctor is surely well accomplished, knowelegable and has a passion for healing. Her staff, well lets just say not so much the professional and lacking in throughness. Health Care is personal and private, and oin the 21st Century where security has become an even greater concern, a medical office should understands that.
