I am impressed by Dr. Pappolla. I had been to many doctors before but he treated me well and his PRP helped me with the pain. I found Dr. Pappolla on the internet and make an appointment with him.His team is very co-operative and very helpful. The PRP helped me alot with pain.

I injured my back at the gym several weeks ago. I was in so much pain and decided to call St. michael Pain and spine clinic, referred by a friend. They gave me an appointment right away and my prescribed medecine was ready for pick up the same day as well. The staff was very friendly and Dr. Pappolla has great bedside manners. I will definitely be back for my next appointment. Highly recommended.

Had an apt for 4:30, was not seen until 8pm because he was busy seeing other patients and giving injections, running test. Staff is very inefficient. Privacy is not protected, they gave me someone else's medical records. He was writing the entire time of my visit and was very rude to the office manager. I will NEVER go back.

Overall this has been a magnificent experience. Initially, I was a little concerned when I contacted this office because they told me that the doctor does not usually prescribes pain pills. I have been bearing neck pain and headaches for almost 20 years. I was also concerned because I had to fill out a lot of paperwork, almost a book. After the doctor did one procedure I still had pain and I almost quit going. However, I thought I give him a try since I had been suffering for so meny years. It took a few visits to the office and finally I can now enjoy life without neck pain or headaches. He did not prescribe pain pills but preventative medicine for my headaches. I could not believe that this had not been done for me before and I had to put up with pain for so long. I highly recommend this doctor. Thank you.

Dr. Pappolla has excellent manners and was extrememly dedicated and caring. I have seen one patients getting upset with him for not getting their pain pills (narcotics) while I was on the waiting room. He rarely prescribes pain pills and some of the comments in this site reflect the frustration of some patients for not getting them. My experience with this physician was outstanding. I greatly appreciate his knowledge. I improved without the use of pain pills or surgery.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Pappolla and needless to say I was not impressed by his care for the patient's needs. Initially his front desk staff never greeted me upon my arrival. After sitting there for 20 minutes I was asked to complete paper work I previously completed after receiving the same paper work in an email. I was brought into a freezing room, but looked over it because it was nothing they could control. After being left in the room for 45 minutes, I stepped out to ask how much longer and if I could wait in the waiting area until the doc was ready. After waiting in the waiting area again, I asked how much longer and hoped my question could be answered. I was told a couple of minutes. The doc finally came and greeted me. Once in the exam room again he asked what brought me here, I explained chronic lower back pain and I was seeking a chiropractor. Why on earth did I say that? He blew up at me and arrogantly stated I am not a chiropractor, i am a neurologist. I study medicine and teach @ the university. I don't perform that witch craft and mumbo jumbo they (chiropractors) do. I informed him whatever he does I would like his services and I was seeking him for relief. I then explained to him I forgot to inform his assistant of one of the OTC meds I was taking for a cold. I then explained that was why I initially stepped out of the cold room after waiting for 45 minutes because I was battling a cold. He informed me if you have a problem you can leave. i was speechless because I did not know what sparked this response and such disrespect. I continued to explain I did not have a problem with waiting but a problem with not being informed by his front desk staff out of courtesy he was busy tending to other patient business. While in the midst of this statement, he told me to hush and be quiet and leave if I had a problem. He stated because of my noted occupation I should be use to waiting and I would wait as long as necessary as long as he is handling other patient business. He proceeded to arrogantly state I am the best at what I do. I ignored his verbal disrespect and asked if we could proceed with the appointment. As we proceeded, he later asked was I upset about something and seemed tense. You think?! I stated I wanted to say my side of the story; he did not allow this. He proceeded to threaten again I could leave and he would not serve me. I asked for my co-pay back and was informed I could get it back by his assistant who was now in the room. He then asked do you want me to help you or not? I stated yes. We completed the appointment and I left feeling disrespected and embarrassed. I simply felt an explanation from the front desk would have been nice to inform me of the wait time, an apology from him for the long wait since there was no one else there for an appointment, or even an apology for his behavior towards me. I can tell he is a knowledgeable of his area of study as we proceeded with the appointment. But this was overshadowed by his arrogance, disrespect, and horrible service. Dr. Pappolla learn how to treat your patients better and know good service is admired; obviously this is not something you learned in medical school.

Slightly difficult to get in with this doctor but the wait was well worth it. I had endure pain for many years without relief. I've seen by many doctors and chiropractors to no avail. THis doctor LISTENS, diagnosed my problem and treated me given me relief for the first time. Writing this as I'm greatful for excellent care.

misdiagnosed by first time visit. Never listen to patient. Was given injection without accurate X-ray or MRI before. BAd attitude when dealing with patient while patient is suffering from pain. Asked u to pay $$$ first without getting accurate insurance coverage info. Never recommend to anyone. Anyone who suffers back pain I suggest to go to Orthopaedic.

Overall this was an exceptional experience. I have suffered with Chronic pain in my neck and shoulders for over 15 years. Misdiagnosed by many doctors over the years. Dr. Pappolla was kind and knowledgeable and I now can live my day to day life without pain medication, the Pain is GONE!! Thank you Dr. Pappolla. I would recommend him to all my friends and family.
