Dr. Mika Marlaine King, MD

I can not say enough positive things about Dr King and her staff. 13 years and 2 kids later, she is the best choice I could Have ever made. Her staff has always been prompt in returning my phone calls and always very professional, yet understanding. I have never felt pressured to do anything or uncomfortable. Most of the time, when I have an appointment, I’m in and out within an hour, sometimes less, which makes me very happy. I have only had to wait over an hour 1 time, and it was due to an emergency c-section, which I completely understood. Dr. King truly cares for her paitents and has never treated me like a number. If she is unsure about something, or would just like to follow up on a situation, she is not afraid to refer you out to a specialist, just to be sure. I highly Recommend her to everyone I know!

I don’t understand how Dr.King has so many positive reviews. — And awards for being punctual and compassionate??? This makes me have very little faith in online reviews and this website. At each appointment, the wait was over an hour and during office visits, I never felt comfortable because her demeanor and tone of voice always seemed so fake. A couple of times, she made me feel shameful talking about my medical conditions by responding insensitively.

Dr. King is by far the most compassionate doctor I have encountered. That in itself says a lot being that I am nurse who the pleasure of working with so many different physicians on a daily basis. She spends time with her patients and has great bedside manner. I saw her every 2 hours while in labor despite the full schedule she had in clinic. I had a readmission shortly after my d/c unrelated to my pregnancy and she came to see me in the ER and admitted me on a late evening/ early morning that she was not even on call. I could go on and on.... Her work speaks for itself. She is loved by the nurses at women's and completely adored by all of her patients. A true example of when your job is not a job, but a calling from God!

She is a great female Dr!
