This office is for taking your money only. Make sure you know your accurate bill because they give no overpayments back without you asking for it. Dr. Grunsky supports no conditions that he hasn't diagnosed. He expressed his disappointment with me when I told him I was buying a house, which resulted in him discharging me as a patient. Read all correspondence carefully, he believes in not stating the truth. There are better doctors in Sumter.

It's still to cold in the waiting areas. The waiting time is almost not there. Lab work could speed up a little.

Doctor Grunsky is just GREAT. When you have an appointment and he is with you, he makes you feel that you are his only appointment. I highly recommend Colonial Healthcare and Doctor Grunsky. Here is just an example. My wife was ill with what we thought was a cold. It just did not go away. I was subbing at a high school and talked with my wife at noon and she told me she thought she was getting worse. Well, it was a Friday and I called to set an appointment as soon as possible the following week. The situation....Doctor Grunsky was going to be out of his office on vacation the next week. I had an appointment for that Friday. Dr Grunsky and Colonial Healthcare allowed her to come in at my appointment. In short it was not a cold but a REALLY bad case of pnewmonia (spelling). He introduced her to a "temp" doctor for the week he was going to be gone. He then called this doctor every other day, while on vacation, and had the x-rays and CT scans sent to him. Now, how many doctors would do that? He is just excellent! Doc, I love you!

I recently had a colonoscopy by Dr. Grunsky. Due to a really bad experience with another doctor in a different practice, I was long overdue for one. I was glad the medicine did not knock me completely out, but relaxed me. I was awake for the procedure, and observed that Dr. Grunsky was gentle and thorough (I could see on the TV what was going one) and even awake the discomfort was minimum. I definitely will be back on time for my next colonoscopy and will ask for Dr. Grunsky! The staff members were also great! It was a great experience, espcially in comparison to my previous one elsewhere.

What a GREAT guy... thankful that he has been my doctor for a few years now.... guided me through a heart Arrhythmia, and provided me with some great advice. He tells like it is and his staff are great. And he is a GAMECOCK fan... what else could a guy ask for in a doctor.... :)

Dr.grunsky is a very good doctor he take time with u.he check u very good from head to toes I will tell everybody about him.

Dr. Mitch Grunsky is the best doctor I have ever had the privilege to know. I served 22 years in the Air Force and, out of all the numerous doctors and medical staff I've encountered, never have I experienced such professionalism relating to my medical care. He is extremely thorough, respectful, friendly, and just an all around nice guy that sincerely cares about his patients. He has my complete trust and respect.

Dr. Grunsky always makes me feel like he has all the time in the world to talk to me. He never appears hurried even though I know he has a very busy schedule. I trust his opinion and always feel he is really looking out for me. What more can you ask! Sumter is blessed to have such a fine doctor serving his community. PS If I could give more stars I would!

Colonial Family often involves a long wait time, but when you're seeing a provider that is thorough and listens to your concerns, it's worth the wait. Being a military family member for over 20 years, I have seen a lot of different providers, and Dr. Grunsky is hands down the best!

As a new patient, sometimes it can be uncomfortable talking with a new doctor. Dr. Grunsky was very attentive and listened closely. I am glad I made the change to Dr. Grunsky and Colonial Family Practice.

He is an excellent physician. I have been under his care since 2006 and can't remember 1 instance where I was disappointed after checkups. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for excellent health care.

I feel that My Doctor has my best interest in my health. I would and I do recommend Dr. Grunsky. His staff is friendly and helpful.

Great doctor

This Dr is the greatest and his staff. They are caring.

Dr. Grunsky is a wonderful Doctor. He takes his time, listens and answers questions. Makes certain his patients are well cared for could not ask for a better doctor!

I'm very satisfied with my care pervider because he makes healthcare about the patience needs.

We have been seeing Dr Grunsky for about 5 years now and aren't the kind to come in for every little thing...basically once a year. He knows my wife has issues with getting blood drawn; yet, yesterday yelled at her if she didn't trust him to get another Doctor. When I was heard what was going on he then yelled at me the same thing which I told him it's not a matter of not trusting him. It's a matter of helping my wife overcome something that was set in culturally prior to me meeting her in Asia. This facility keeps pushing for tests they can make big money off the insurance company. We're pushed for colonoscopies and were able to make an appointment once only to have to drop it, because I work for the Government and have to travel a lot. My wife doesn't drive; yet, we're the bad guys here. Neither of us like going to the Doctor in the first place and our blood pressure is elevated when we go in. Yesterday we left with even higher blood pressure and eventually went to their urgent care portion of the facility, because I was concerned over my wife's BP. We have changed Doctors within the facility and hopefully will get some cultural senstivity from a Doctor who has been in the military before. Really irritating and sad all at once. Colonial is getting worse as time goes along. Going to give them one more try with the Doctor change...we'll see what happens.

Not happy with the entire practice, they horde people in like cattle. i was discharged from the doctor for unknown reasons and was sent a form letter.
