Dr. Mohamed Abdi Ibrahim, MD

Dr. Ibrahim did a colonoscopy for me today and he was AWESOME! Such amazing bedside manners, very kind and I believe very good at what he does. I wouldn't hesitate for a second sending a family member to him. Thanks to Dr. Ibrahim, the nurses and anesthesia team for taking such good care of me today. I also want to mention everything was seamless from the sweet volunteer that walked me to registration and then to the procedure unit to the discharge nurse and really everyone in between.

I was so pleased with Dr. Ibrahim. He is such a warm and caring doctor. I wasn't a bit nervous for a change. All the employees were so great too.

Dr. Ibrahim is an outstanding doctor. He has been kind, caring and understanding and has good sense of humor. he made my ordeal much easier to handle. I would recommend him to everyone!

I didn't follow up with him because he had very poor bedside manner. Didn't seem to care or want to talk about my issues. Was very arrogant. Nurses we awesome. I would recommend this hospital just for the nurses..

I have some anxiety about surgery! Dr. Ibrahim addressed this by being very thorough in explaining the surgical procedure!! If I would have surgery again, I would request his services! I have had 3 knee surgeries which were all successful. However, I wish that surgeon would have been as thorough in explaining the surgical procedure as Dr. Ibrahim! I have total confidence in him!! Thank you! Super!= Very thorough! Awesome. Dr. Ibrahim was articulate and clearly explained my condition!!

I think some people write for malicious purposes but if you really want to know the true reputation of a surgeon the best place to find would be finding what people who work with him think of him. I was diagnosed with cancer of the spleen and needed someone who really had very good experience in laparoscopic surgery. I was fortunate that a relative knew one of the Anesthesiology (Nurse Anesthetist) that works in the hospital Dr. Ibrahim practices (Mercy Hospital). She gave glowing recommendations. I saw him in the office and I could see what she meant. I have had number of operations in my abdomen and was worried that laparoscopy would not work but he reassured me. The procedure went very smooth and was home the next day. And oh, forgot, my Oncologist (surgical Oncologist) really spoke of him highly. My advice would be to ask real person who knows him (like your doctors etc) to find how wonderful Dr. Ibrahim is. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM ANY TIME!!

I loved going to this doctor. He is very caring and I was a medical student and he helped me with my health and goals. Best doctor in the history of all Minneapolis.

Life Saver. My husband needed emergency surgery. Not only was he excellent in what he did for my husband, his after care and bedside manner was exceptional. What a wonderful person.
