Dr. Monée N Merriweather, PsyD

My husband and I have been clients of Dr. Merriweather's on and off for several years. I say "on and off" because after our initial counselling helped us work through some very trying times in our lives, we find it helpful to check back in with her if we come across something that is causing a lot of stress between us. Having someone else's perspective can make major issues and conflicts easier to work out. Thank you, Dr. Merriweather for all of your help!

Dr. Merriweather is a pleasure to work with. She is always prompt and makes you feel at home. Her calm energy and uplifting spirit is very refreshing and this allows you to feel more comfortable to speak. She shows great concern for her patients and listens very well. Dr. Monée is a very conscious counselor. She listens carefully and considerately to your concerns, fears and hopes. She gently guides you forward so that you recognize progress on your own. Dr. Monée was easy to open up to in a way one would to a treasured friend instead of it being just a purely clinical experience. Warm and reassuring, but also chiding me or opening my eyes to a different point of view when called for. A straight shooter. Her personality is an asset and she makes you feel like she is genuinely concerned about your well-being.

A blessing to our family

Our family, mainly myself and my three teenage boys, have been seeing Dr. Merriweather for five years now and she has helped our family through some really difficult times. Dr. Merriweather has over 25 years of experience and she is very helpful and professional. I love how she works with my boys and helps to offer us solutions for some of the challenges we have dealt with as a family. She has helped me gain confidence as a mother and feel more empowered as a wife and woman. Her services have been a great blessing in our lives and I could not appreciate her more. She is a caring and professional therapist that I would feel comfortable recommending to any of my friends or family.

Dr. Monee was one of the only Counselor gave me a call back during my initial shopping for my husband. While I was devastated, she offered her help to me and helped me getting thru the most difficult time. She went past and beyond a regular health professional's normal duty, jumped through the hoops to help my husband get the care registered under EAP program so that it would be at no cost to us. I don't know if anyone else who have done that for us. My appreciation for her is beyond words, and I am grateful everyday for having her in our lives to help. I met Dr Merriweather over three years ago when my brother was her client. I liked her so much that I asked to see her for myself. She is a true professional and has the highest of ethics while she is very personable and shows true caring. She is unbiased in her opinions and she offers real solutions on many issues. Dr. Monee is phenomenal!! She saved our marriage back in 2013 and we still see her a couple times a year, as needed! My husband is very difficult to get to open up on a deeper level and he felt so comfortable with her from the start!
