Dr Seymour seems to be a very caring and understanding doctor. I felt like you listen to me when I spoke and did his best to understand what I was saying. I am 2 weeks out from surgery, I am healing well and his staff has been very helpful. Even over the weekend when I had an issue the staff called me back very quickly and took care of my needs. I highly recommend Dr Seymour and his staff

I have been a patient of Dr. Seymour for quite a while. He is a fantastic doctor, very compassionate and caring. The staff is very nice and I can’t think of anything that has been unsatisfactory during my tenure of being his patient.

Waited about 5 minutes till I was called back. Interview was quick, and sent to X-ray immediately. Within five minutes, I was called back to talk to talk to the doctor. He explained in detail what was wrong, and gave me four prescriptions. Very smart and caring man.

Easy to make quick appointment. Not a long wait time. Very knowledgeable nurse practitioner. Very pleased with visit.

I didn't see Dr. Seymour, although that is who I expected to see. I did see Kevin, his PA. Kevin was polite, informative, and compassionate. He discussed the radiology findings and treatment options. He was very professional and kind. I guess the rating above is really for Kevin!

I have been going to Dr Seymour for many years and he has always explained what was going on and how he would deal with it. If I have questions he answers so I can understand. He is not an "in and out" doctor that leaves you wondering. Dr Seymour is the best.

have tried for two days to talk to a nurse. those who have answered the phone will not let me speak to a nurse. I am my husbands only care giver, almost 82 yrs. old, need help that could be taken care by talking to dr. seymours nurse, but unable to get her my message. mrs. l.j. jones

Routine back operation destroyed my life. Can barely walk and have no control over bladder or bowels. Horrific pains in foot can only be overcome with massive amounts of opiods.

After having an MRI and many xrays Dr Seymour said I would be out of the hospital in 1 to 3 days after having back surgery. I was in the hospital 5 days after surgery and in rehab for 5 weeks relearning to walk. The surgery left me incontinent and severely damaged nerves in my left foot and left me incontinent.

People that give bad reviews evidently have not done their research. Although every case is different, i have had 2 previous neck surgeries, today is the 14th day since Dr. Seymour preformed my surgery. He took the old plate out, put new deal in. Although i gave them theirs money worth the night i stayed, cause of pain, immidiately, tho old pain was gone. This doctor knows what he is doing. To work on a spine, close to the spinal colomn, you have to know what you are doing. After 2 weeks, im wanting to mop my floors. If i could rate him a 10, i would. Im on fb and all my friends know what i think of him. The nurses as well. I didnt have to keep buzzing if i wanted something. They top notch people.

Seymour has done both my back surgeries and treated me for several years prior until surgery was the only option left. He is an outstanding doctor with a caring staff.

I work as an X-ray tech in a hospital and experience first hand all of the physicians techniques and outcomes. I chose Dr. Seymour to do my fusion on L 4-5 and had no problems after surgery. In response to the patient about pain and not healing it would not be apparent early post op. it would have taken time to show that the bones did not heal . If you had followed up Dr. Seymour would have certainly found the same results as your Birmingham doctor . Should I need another fusion he is my first and only choice. ( I am 18 months post surgery with no problems)
