Doctor seems ok. . expect to wait for over an hour for your appointments. The office staff is horrendous! Horrendous is an understatement. They call 5 min before appointments to cancel, tell you your appt is on one day and schedule for a different day etc. They are rude, unorganized and should not run a desk. Literally every appt the rescan my insurance card because "we lost the one on file" Just not worth the struggle.

He is a terrible, terrible doctor. His staff is rude as can be, including the office manager. If you miss one appointment the office manager will actually scream at you. The doctor throws medicine at you and doesn't even stay five minutes in the room with you. He doesn't treat any diseases. I heard from an employee that they don't allow the staff to bring in any pork due to their religion. Before I had a scope there I noticed that there was still some stuff on the scope from the last procedure and I left. Please do not go to this office. It is disgusting there and the people there are not friendly at all.

I saw Dr. Al-Midani back in 2011 and have since moved to Florida and have seen 3 other Gastroenterologist and none of them are as Amazing, knowledgeable, and Caring as Dr. Al-Midani. I wish I could fly back to Burton just to see him. Thank you for all you did.

He is a butcher, not a physician. He stands in a door and talks to his patients. He has no compassion and care, just want to make money . He treats his patients like, they are not human.

I was diagnosed with Gastroparesis in 2001 and moved to Michigan in 2014. I seen a well know GI MD, and was not satisfied with his treatment, but when I was referred to Dr Al Madani by my PCP, I immediately knew I was in good hands. Dr Al Madani has done wonders with me, starting with doing a Botox Injection in my lower Pyloric Sphincter which aides in my stomach emptying. He also found a precancerous polyp and was concerned with my strong family history of cancer, stated that he would watch me close. You cannot find a better, more compassionate Office Manager then Mr. Brashar. He is on top of things, gets you scheduled for anything you need at a timely manner. This is a great place!

Very poor bedside manner, only cares about making money.

I feel he is a great doctor because he listens to your problems. He will then perform procedures and/ or schedule you for other tests to get to the root of your problem.

This is a follow-up to a previous review that I left for this doctor. I had a really bad experience with this doctor because the anesthesia did not work and he tried to do the colonoscopy anyways. He had to stop half way through the procedure, but he still charged my insurance company for the botched job he did. I recently had surgery on my foot, by a different doctor, under IV sedation and I had no problems being sedated for the whole operation. Dr. Ali-Midani and his staff have no idea how to do IV sedation correctly. If you want to be completely sedated for this procedure, DO NOT GO HERE!!

Had my first and last colonoscopy done by him. I was awake during the whole procedure because the anesthesia did not work. He only completed 1/2 of the procedure because I could not tolerate the pain. He had about 5 excuses as to why I was awake for the procedure. None of his excuses made any sense. The first one was that I had to be awake so I could take some deep breaths of oxygen because my oxygen level was low. Then he said that he had told me 'during' the procedure that he could not guaranty that I would be asleep for the procedure. Then, I should have told him that I wanted to be under controlled, monitored anesthesia in a hospital setting. Huh? Then it was because of my high threshold to anesthesia caused by my medications, blah, blah, blah...He had a lot of excuses for a botched colonoscopy. By the way, I looked up my medications when I got home and they should have actually enhanced the effects of the anesthesia. Nice job doc... DO NOT GO HERE...

If you want a pain-free colonoscopy, do not go here.

I have been seeing Dr. Al-Midani for several years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and gives me answers to any of my needed questions. I have had unfortunate luck with a past job and their office provided me the option with a monthly payment plan. I am so thankful for the care and generousity of Dr. Al-Midani and his staff. It really shows his compassion for treating patients. I have recommended his care to my friends and family. Truely terrific office.

I have been seeing Dr. Al-Midani since he started his practice in the late seventies. Dr. Al-Midani is a generous caring man. I have been in his office and been seen right away, I have also waited 2 hours and would gladly wait again to receive the level of care and respect that Dr. Al-Midani has shown me. Not only has the doctor been terrific, but also his staff has been nothing but polite and helpfil. Thank You Dr. Al-Midani and staff!
