Dr. Murali Maheswaran

I have suffered from Severe Obstructive, Central, and Mixed Apnea since prior to 1996 (my diagnosis was made when I finally had a whiff Apnea existed). Living with this issue has been extremely difficult. My apnea issues worsened over time. Since early 2002, other health issues have reared their ugly heads, too. I went from C-pap to V-pap, and now I'm on a V-pap ST with an upper pressure of 20. Dr. Mahi is thorough. He looks at the evidence and looks at the obvious. He's straight forward. . .tells you what you need to know, not what you want to hear. He is not afraid to admit to say "there may be more here than we see." If he is unsure about something, he digs deeper and checks into the "let's nail down what's really going on here." Dr. Mahi is not satisfied with let's do the band-aid; he gets down to "this is the issue and now we can work on the bottom line." His philosophy is we either fix it or -- if it can't be fixed -- take action to give the patient the best and longest living outcome possible. Dr. Mahi is not just satisfied with enough, he thinks about the patient and the long term. Dr. Mahi not only found my issue, he took action to make my quality of life one that I believe will be long-lasting. He will be with me in the fight because he cares.

Dr. Maheswaran is a wonderful doctor, my husband, Doug went to him and he listened to all that he need to tell him. Dr. Maheswaran then asked other questions and discussed what needed to be done. Doug needed a different kind of sleep study and that is what he got. Dr. Mahewsaran is a caring and professional doctor. He will tell you what you need to hear which may be different from what you want to hear. He is excellent and I highly recommend him.

Excellent Doctor! Really knows his stuff. Has a multitude of different expertise that all coincides with sleep. Having the experience that he does provides a different outlook and perspective in helping people.

Dr. Mahe, as his patients call him, listens carefully to his patients and explains all of the options for treatment, so that the patient has a say in the final treatment plan.
