Dr. Nami O Khulusi, MD

How anyone (patient or family) could not give him 5 stars is beyond me. This man is not only a great diagnostician but a great person who cares about his patients and their family and looks at the patient in their entirety.

Rude and unprofessional manager

I know my review will be somewhat lengthy, but I must praise this wonderful doctor. I first saw Dr. Khulusi went I first moved to Freehold, 1996. I went to him for a simple problem. When I first met him, he was nothing but kind, knowledgeable and so caring. After seeing a few doctors, which I was NOT at all satisfied, finally I found the one. Over the years, Dr. Khulusi, whom I call My Dr. House (for obvious reasons) was always there for me as well as my family. My Dr. House has been following my thyroid nodules for the past five years, always advising thyroid ultrasounds yearly. Well, this time when I went, the radiologist said that I should repeat the ultrasound in one years time. No FNA to be performed at this time. My Dr. House totally disagreed on this. After my FNA of the thyroid, it was found that I had thyroid cancer. I just had a thyroidectomy performed last week. If it weren't for Mr. Dr. Khulusi, this would have NEVER been done and another year would have lapsed. Yes, My Dr. House saved my life! He has continuosly called me throughout my recovery. So needless to say, I didn't have to be reminded of the caring, expertise of Dr. Khulusi. Dr. Khulusi, is the ultimate! The Best of the Best! And one more review, his staff couldn't be any better!!!!

Dr. Khulusi Doctor Khulusi has been my physician since my return to New Jersey in the early 2000’s. Even though his schedule was incredibly hectic prior to MDVIP I felt that he took the time to try and understand me holistically, and treat me as a whole person rather than a basket of symptoms. His manner has always put me at ease and his medical knowledge and experience made it easy for me to follow through on his recommendations. I’m fortunate to have a doctor who actually knows me...

Dr Khulusi has been my physician for years. He is quite simply the best. Too many people have become resigned to trying to manage their own health without the care of a great primary care Dr. This is not necessary with this Dr. I can’t tell you how many times he has corrected medication errors prescribed by specialists who don’t take the time to consider your other conditions. I trust and respect him and will continue to be s loyal patient!

Dr Khulusi is without a doubt the most brilliant physician I've ever met. He has saved my life on numerous occasions. The medical knowledge this man has is incomparible. I'm originally from NY and had physicians on Park Ave and Fifth Ave. Not one of those can compare to Dr Khulusi. He's a member of MDVIP, he's on call 24/7, 365 days a year. I trust him with my life as well as every member of my family. If the occasion arises that I need a specialist, I go to the one he suggests then revisit Dr Khulusi for his opinion. He deserves 10 stars in every category as well as 100 others. He is truly a life saver .I can't say enough about him. to me he is the pinnacle of medical excellence.

I've been Dr. Khulusi's patient before he changed to MDVIP practice. It was the best move he did, there's no wait at all! It's easy to get an appointment, you are guaranteed to be seen within 24 hours if you are sick, you are not put on long hold when you call. The best is you can always reach Dr. Khulusi on his phone after hours! The doctor calls you with test results, and he refers to the best of specialists! And he is very thorough, attentive! Dr. Khulusi's MDVIP practice is definitely worth the money, and I would highly recommend him!

Dr Kahului has joined MDVIP, a concierge type practice. To receive treatment you must pay an additional $1,500 per year. If you don't join, you will be dismissed. Good bye

Great doc, but horrible office and staff..be prepared to wait 1-2 hours in a small waiting room. Last visit people were sitting in the hallway ...saw a few people leave in disgust Hard to get refills ..saw one lady arguing about refill quantities for an hour until her pharmacy called the office and CORRECTED the staff!..phone frequently doesn't answer because the message inbox is full..he needs a professional office manager..made an appointment with the RN to talk about a mistake in a prescription. But I left after 90 minutes of waiting..at least someone can tell me what's going on.?

This has got to be the staff writing these, how I know, is cause I worked there, he is the ZPACK KING and will call it in without seeing you, yes thre is a wait, a huge one and thats if he did not call out. His staff has a turn over rate like food in a fridge. Great doctor, sure!! But your staff makes you thats why i quit, cause the office was so nuts and not organized. The reason I am writing this is you deserve the best and the truth. And his staff being forced to erite reviews and lie is deceitful and you deserve to listen to truth

Dr. Khulusi is a wonderful doctor. If you are looking for a doctor that takes his time to listen to you and then will go above and beyond to help you then he is the doctor you need to see. Sure there may be a wait when you go to the office but I have never gone to a doctors appointment and been taken right in. The difference is, when you are seen by Dr Khulusi you will spend quality time with him. Another great example of how wonderful Dr Khulusi is, is 2 yrs ago my husband became sick ( at first I thought it was a common cold) but one evening his fever went to 103 not sure what to do ( go to the er ?) I called Dr Khulusi answering service, he called me right back and told me to alternate Tylenol and Motrin and then he called me every 2-3 hrs all night to check in on him ... What other doctor do you know that would do that :)

I KNOW DR KHULUSI SINCE HE STARETED IN 1994 WITH DR WIENSTIEN,HE NEVER CHANGED!!HE IS WORTH THE WAIT.EVERY DR IN THE AREA SPEAKS HIGHLY OF HIM .HE CAN USE MORE HELP ..HIS NURSE PRACTITIONER SEEMS GOOD...I WISH HE CAN CLONE HIM SELF...HE PRACTICES REAL MEDICINE NOT JUST "Z-PACK" MEDICINE LIKE MOST DRS .....DR K WILL BE MY DR UNTILL HE RETIRES!!!!HE IS A GOOD MAN .

Dr Khulusi is a very caring and dedicated Physician! He takes time with his patients and explains everything to you. I recommend him to all my friends. There are not many doctors that take the time that he does to ask questions and make you feel comfortable!! The office is pleasant and inviting. Thank you Dr Khulusi

Being a first time patient first thing i noticed was how nice the staff was was checking in and how clean the waiting room was. I had to wait for the doctor but not as long as my previous doctor , and once i was actually seen he took his time with me and listened very attentively as i explained what was wrong and he was able to give me an easy explanation. The doctor has an amazing personality and you can tell he genuinely loves to help people. After his assessment he had ordered blood work and a few other tests , he has a plebotomist in office and they were able to draw right after i was seen so i didn't have to go to a lab or a hospital. The girl at the desk was able to explain to me where and when my other tests were done. Over all the whole office staff was very friendly and helpful , i will definitely keep Dr Khulusi on as my primary doctor.

Not sure what is wrong with Dr Khulusi but he moves his office has new staff but he is never there and ALWAYS cancels his appointments. Dr. Khulusi has gone down hill. Very SAD

Dr khulusi is a wonderful dr, his biller however is horrible, She takes it very personal if you leave the practice, fights with you makes it hard to get oyur records, there is no need for that. Who cares why i left, maybe it was not about the dr, but maybe the staff i feel are the reason he loses his patients

I did an internship with Dr. Khulusi for almost a year. Dr. Khulusi is very thorough in his examinations. He truly care about his patients. I feel very fortunate to be able to observe him in practice performing physical assessments, reviewing history and incorporating new treatments into the patients' preexisting regimen taking into consideration the patients' social situation, financial situation and insurance status. I haven't met many providers that spend that much time with patients. I highly recomned him as an internist.

Dr Khulusi had amazing bedside manners , and he took his time explaining his diagnosis and treatment options instead of writing me a script and sendin ...
