I had to put a 1-star review because there is no such thing as a ZERO. This man screwed up my mom's back SO BAD. She had pain and a compression fracture at L3. She was afraid to get full surgery done so she tried the "interventional radiology" route. Dr. Rachel Jancowski NP suggested the procedure + sent her. I went in with her (my mom) and asked her "would you advise your mother to have this procedure done". She said YES. I know that things go wrong during procedures but my mom is in CONSTANT pain since this was done. Also, I have to wonder if he didn't know something went wrong because he didn't even INTRODUCE himself + he didn't visit the outpatient recovery area either after the procedure was done. It makes me wonder if he didn't realize that he seriously messed up??!! I have heard people say they had good results with the procedure but everybody PLEASE remember something that I guess neither myself or my mom considered. If something goes wrong in the procedure they really can't do anything. Its not like a doctor can "remove" what was put into her spinal column once it hardened!! She has tried multiple pain/steroid/numbing injections to lessen the pain (different doctors of course!) but these injections lasted just HOURS and the pain was back. My mom can barely function anymore PERIOD! The only good thing is that the procedure didn't result in paralysis.
