Dr. Nicholas T Pecorelli, MD

Staff is impatient. They don’t open the office on time. I am always put on hold when I call, even when I clearly say I can’t hold. Doctors/nurse practitioner are in and out of your room in maximum 3 minutes.

I used to see David Bleeker, MD at this location since 1986. My entire family did. I think Dr. Pecorelli is great, but I have been trying to get in touch with him for 6 days now regarding a VIP medication I am on. My husband and I are going through an extremely difficult time financially and currently do not have phone Service. I have even stopped in to leave a more detailed message for him, and gave permission for a phone call to be returned to my own father. Working in a medical setting for over 15 years, I don't expect a physician to simply walk out of an exam room to speak to a patient. But this is an anti-depressant, and is vital I keep on with it. I do not know the name of the woman who rushes most patients off the phone with" ok, ok, good bye. Ok good bye. Bye", and proceeds to hang up on you leaving you speachless and helpless, but it is absolutely inappropriate and unprofessional to treat ANY patient that way. It is a plain disregard for a patient's needs. Especially being heart and mental health related. Again he is a good doctor, but I am now in a state of limbo already in a poor situation.

Easy to get an appointment but seems to be lacking in the bedside manner department. Just middle of the road in my book.

I have had a mostly pleasant experience with Dr. Pecorelli over the years. Be forewarned about his staff though - some of his employees are friendly and helpful while I feel that others have no business working with patients due to their rude and obnoxious behavior (namely Celeste). Unfortunately blatant unprofessionalism from his office staff comes with the territory when dealing with this physician and it's a shame because Dr. Pecorelli provides quality care.

The most unprofessional office I ever delt with! I called several times at several occasions in reference to an appointment and or prescription for my husband. Linda is the only one with good manners and person ability. Celeste is the rudest of his employees!!! She has no manners and I don't think she understands the meaning of being curteous. It's a shame because my husband likes his doctor very much.

Dr. Pecorelli is a great diagnostician and he takes the time to listen to the patient. He asks questions and I felt he and his staff did a great job caring for my family

I had a very good experience with him yesterday in which he was thorough in exploring my medical issue and in which he exhibited compassion towards my situation. His expertise and warm bedside manner were much needed because I've been experiencing chronic pain and he really did a good job in assessing my needs and in offering me reassurance.

The staff in that office is definitely going downhill. I called to ask when I was due for my next round of bloodwork and the question could have been answered if the person who answered the phone simply took a minute to access my chart. Instead she practically jumped down my throat, which I did NOT appreciate at all. There is no excuse to ever behave in an unprofessional manner to customers and as a long time patient I was appalled. I am getting tired of the rudeness in that office and some changes should really be made.

He is not a caring doctor especially when you turn away a 81yr old because his office staff made a mistake and scheduled me for 5:55 but in computer put us down for 4:55, thank goodness this was not an emergency because he did not care to see her or even come out to speak with us to see what issues she was having!! SHAME ON YOU and your NASTY Staff that many people that work at Hackensack Medical warned me about!!

Very caring and easy to talk to. I think he is great.

My stepfather was his patient for many years. This "doctor" wouldn't visit him nor even return a phone call when we asked for a prescription for a hospice care. Also - we were stunned by rudeness of his staff.

He will put you on all types of medications to see which one will make your problem go away instead of trying to find what is causing the problem in the first place. I found a new doctor and I would never go back to him. I would have to wait an hour in the office before seeing him each time. Front desk clerk is very rude.

I have been with Dr. Pecorelli for several years and could not be any happier that I have found such a caring doctor. Wish that more professional doctors would be like Dr. Pecorelli.

He is an excellant dr .....Always listens and diagnosis is always right .Been with him since the beginning .My whole family goes to him and I would highly recomend him ...My son was there without and app. very sick and office busy .They took him in..Glad I have a great dr ,

Dr. Pecorelli, in my experience, has usually been accurate in terms of diagnosis. I also feel that he spends adequate time with me so that he and I can have a thorough conversation in relation to my chief complaint. However, there are times where his bedside manner is lacking and where he has treated me with hostility from what I perceived to be frustration on his end (I've had a recurring issue that has required frequent follow-up). He has had moments where he's acted like a jerk and where I've felt like a burden to him although I scheduled an appointment with him to ask for help with a medical issue. He has also had moments where he has been friendly and supportive and seemingly happy to help. I feel that I have gotten good care from him over the years but I think he would benefit from re-examining how he treats his patients.

Dr. Pecorelli has been my doctor since he started practicing medicine and I've never had any major problems with him. He's usually accurate with his diagnoses and he listens when I address my concerns. I feel that he's a pretty good doctor overall. However, getting an appointment urgently is a challenge. Also, although I have had issues with the unprofessional attitudes of some of his staff members on several occasions, I feel that his staff has improved recently.

He's been my doctor for several years now and he's great. I've never waited long for my appointment.

Not happy at all - need to find a new doctor

Not happy with visit at all. Told me I needed to make another apt. Unprofessional - wasted my time.

Dr. Pecorelli is caring and is able to diagnose and appropriately treat issues when I come in.
