Dr. Nilo Ernesto Herrera, MD

Dr Herrera was referred to me by Dr Valdes many years ago. it was the best choice and recommendation. i have been a patient of his for over 25 years and he is the most caring and down to earth human being i know. always listened and helped with any of my health concerns. very knowledgeable and great sense of humor. he will be sorely missed. old school doctor that is irreplaceable in my opinion. i cant say enough good about him and thankful for his care.

My last visit with Dr. Herrera ending with him and a associate of his yelling and bullying me. Just so he could have me walk out and no longer be treated under his care. Not that he was helping me at all to begin with. He had a personal problem with me , wich I won't get into. But to say the least triple booking patients and who's got the highest pay out for insurance will always make the end justify the means .

You will never find another doctor today like Dr. Herrera. He is "old school". He spends time with his patients, is thorough in is diagnosing and shows compassion. Been a patient of his for 30 years, and when he retires, he will be hard to replace.

Dr. Herrera has been our family physician for over 25 years. He is a compassionate MD, who explains everything to a patient in terms people can understand. He takes the time to get to know the people he treats and treats them with respect.

This Doctor is the smartest Doctor I have ever been to and I am a senior citizen.

I haven't seen Dr. Herrera in many years but when i resided in N.Y. He was my primary Dr. Doctor Herrera was one of the kindest doctors that I have ever known and he genuinely cares for his patients and always takes the time to listen instead of rushing you out the door like many physicians seem to do. I highly recommend Dr. Herrera to anyone seeking excellent quality care. He is a physician who truly cares for his patients and has a wonderful personality and will definitely get you on the road to feeling better and maintaining your health!

I agree with almost everyone so far, he is the best doctor ever, I don't know what I would ever do if he retired. As far as the people here given him a bad star you wont be pleased by anyone. he saved my life and I will forever be grateful to him, when no other doctor could diagnosis me right he did it in one sitting, I would bring my dog to him if I could he is excellent and I trust him completely.

If Dr. Herrera's ever retires his patients are in big trouble. We'll never be able to replace him. He has been on the money with every single diagnosis I've ever had. One time I had a strange rash on my back, went to the Dermatologist, they took blood work, and ruled out Lymes disease. I was told it was eczema + was sent home w/topical cream. I got a 2nd opinion, THANK GOD, from the wizard himself, Dr. Herrera. He did a more efficient blood test and it tested POSITIVE for Lyme. He knew it was Lyme at first sight before the tests even came back + started to treat me immediately. This is just one little example of the many times he saved me life. Lyme's disease is deadly. His staff is excellent. They are very busy because Dr. Herrera is so swamped w/patients. You know those primary physicians where you get right in w/o waiting too long ......don't go there!

My personal experience with Dr. Herrera has been excellent. Spend a good amount of time with me, after my exam going over my lab work and I enjoy the one on one discussion that follows. I am glad I found him. I have been with him since 2006.

The better you get to know him, the more you realize he loves to talk but not listen. If he gets started, it's hard to get a word in. He'll tell you about the same trials and studies in the medical field from one visit to the next. Maybe he should have been in research or a teacher. He's intelligent, but not sure he's as good a doctor as a lot of people think.
