Dr. Nimish H Thaker, MD

Super friendly staff as well as super friendly himself. I had a surgery done here by thaker that was done beyond perfect no scar tissue left at all or any pain. Definitely recommend if you need a doctor that’s willing to listen to you and knows what they’re doing.

the DR is ok but there staff and office manager are the most incompetent people in the medical field and office I've EVER EXPERIECED! and im over 60 so thats saying alot...they couldn't even get my perscription filled with their pahrmacist. I called them several times and they argued with me! I had to remind the extremely rude office manager that I'm the patient paying for her salary! UNBELIEVABLE THEY WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO TALK TO THE DOCTOR!! DO NOT GO THEIR OFFICE UNLESS YOUR LOOKING FOR A VERY RUDE AWAKENING! THEY WOULD NOT GIVE MY CO-PAY BACK EITHER FOR DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!

I would highly recommend Dr. Thaker to anyone looking for an exceptional Urologist that is caring and compassionate with his patients. My case was very complex but Dr. Thaker made me feel very comfortable, he explained my condition, imaging reports and treatment options very clear and thorough and answered all my questions. Dr. Thaker provides excellent care to his patients and does not make you feel rushed. All office staff are outstanding, very pleasant, courteous and professional. I was able to get an appointment very quickly.

I was referred to Dr. Thaker by my primary physician in 2008 when an x-ray showed that I had bladder stones. Dr. Thaker did the stone removal surgery (outpatient) and a few years later I had new stones and he performed that same surgery again. I have always been happy with his professionalism, and that of his staff. Most of my appointments are just follow up prevention visits to go over blood and urine tests, and occasionally to go over x-rays and scans. Dr. Thakers office was in Riverside near my house, but a year ago he moved his practice to Ontario. I could have changed to another local urologist, but I’m sure none would be as good as him, so it’s worth the longer drive. In addition, if we just need to go over test results, those are now done over the phone. I think the phone appointments have cut down the wait time for office visits, but if you do have a long wait, bear in mind that in addition to your doctor referring you to him, so are many other doctors. There’s a reason for that, as he is the best urologist in the area.

Dr. Thaker is truley amazing. He is very intelligent, kind, caring and very patient. He is detailed in explaining all procedures and explaining what the diagnosis is in terms you can understand. He is very thorough in his work. He is an expert in his field in my opinion. I’m grateful that he is my urologist. His office staff is amazing. They are professional, caring and very organized. I’ve never had to wait more than ten minutes to be seen. The office is very clean and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Thaker. He is truley the best!!

I feel incredibly lucky to have found the best of the best Doctor there is. Some might say there is a wait time in the office or the parking is difficult, however since they moved into their brand new office, I found absolutely no waiting and I park up front every time. I had a previous issue that was overlooked but soon started getting worse and fast. I was fortunate enough to be seen by Dr.Thaker and after one visit he knew what was going on but also ordered tests to verify everything over again. Soon after that I was able to have the needed surgery preformed by Dr. Thaker. The surgery went extremely well with no other issues arising and everything healing up nicely. I am very grateful to have to referred to Dr. Thaker and his office. Dr. Thaker and his team went above and beyond to help me out and I will forever be grateful for it

0845 appointment. MA (medical assistant) called me after 45 minutes to fill out forms. Told him its done during my previous visit. Waited. MA called me after 1,5 hours to perform bladder test. He said not enough water and to drink more and walk around after. He called me during my walk and said he is leaving and can not do the test. And NO ONE to do it except him. that was odd. so he schedule me again. I just realized i woke up early and drove over an hour to be there on time and these people can not perform a simple test. Their competence and unprofessionalism was so evident as soon as you walk and talk to them. Dr. Thaker may be a good doctor but nothing good to say how his staff manage the clinic.I hope my insurance are not charge for services not rendered.

I was referred to Dr. Thaker several years ago by my primary physician when he diagnosed a problem that I had as being the result of bladder stones. I was referred to Dr. Thaker because he is considered to be the best (locally) in his field. Dr. Thaker has performed two successful (solving the problem) surgeries on me, and at this point, I would not trust anyone else to do as thorough a job as him. Yes, the office wait time can be long, but I have other doctors with long wait times too. I think that’s just how it is nowadays, as I’ve heard that there’s actually a shortage of doctors now since more people than ever now have medical insurance. In addition, I never feel rushed when I see the doctor, and he lets me give my input on tests and procedures that we may be doing. If you were referred to Dr. Thaker, keep in mind that it’s because he is considered by his doctor peers as being the best in his field. I consider it as being worth the wait.

Dr Thaker is beyond one of the best Urologist's I have visited with amazing bedside manners he took his time to explain every question i had for him. He has calm, caring demeanor and helpful staff. I truly believe he dedicates himself to offer the best healthcare he possibly can. Truly over the top from initial visit to after surgery care. Thank you Dr. Thaker

Dr. Thaker provides excellent & thoughtful CARE

I had slow urinating for almost 15 years, Dr Thaker change my life after having scar tissue surgery. I visited many urologist, but he did it he is best. I truly recommend him for any urologist patients.

I AM A DOCTOR MYSELF. I KNOW A LOT OF UROLOGISTS.DR THACKER IS THE BEST.I CHOSE HIM FOR MY MINOR PROCEDURE. IT WAS QUICK. A PIECE OF CAKE.DIDNT EVEN NEED PAIN MEDS .JUST TOOK A COUPLE OF TYLENOL. I CHOICE HIM BECAUSE HE IS SKILLED SMART EXPLAINS WELL AND IS CARING. GREAT STAFF TOO.

I found Dr. Thaker to be very thorough. when I was first faced with the possibilities of what might be he was calm and reassuring. After careful testing he came up with a procedure that has solved my problems. I know that I'm not totally "out of the woods". With continued checkups,I feel good about the future. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Thaker.

I have been going to Dr. Thaker since about 2009. At this time I had been diagnosed with bladder cancer. This alone was such a huge shock to me; as I already had heart issues & triple bi-pass surgery behind me. When I talked to Dr. Thaker, the first impression I had about him was that He was very dedicated to his profession, and that He would be a very thorough Doctor who would try to help me with my condition in the best way possible. I had a very difficult procedure to fight the cancer; but He was very encouraging and always made me feel that we could beat it. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know that needs this kind of Doctor. As for the Staff; I personally never had any problem, but when running a business; you can never predict when there could be a problem. P.S. I am now cancer free and have been for 5 years. I plan to move out-of-state, but plan to come back to Dr. Thaker for my follow-ups.

Dr Thacker is very easy to talk to about my condition, he listens to my concerns. I feel fortunate to have him as my doctor. His staff always answers any questions I have. I understand it may take a little while to see the doctor, but that's ok by me. Keep up the good work, Thanks!
