I recommend Dr. Sherber and her practice with the greatest enthusiasm. She is a skin genius: the first dermatologist able to “fix” extremely stubborn acne and inflammation, with which I’ve battled for 45 years. It took her unbeatable combination of creativity, analytical skills, up-to-the-minute understanding of research, passion, and sheer determination, to solve the puzzle — and leave me with the best skin I’ve had in many years. I am truly grateful for her care, and for her caring, personable and sweet demeanor and her lovely bedside manner. It’s a lot like chatting with a family friend, albeit a highly intelligent, well-informed and incisive one, with whom you can share even potentially embarrassing concerns. I truly cannot recommend any dermatologist more so than I do Dr Noëlle Sherber of Sherber and Rad. I started seeing Dr Sherber about a year ago after I realized that years of basking in the glory of the sun sans sunscreen or hats had indeed taken a toll. Over the last couple of years unsightly sun spots and general skin tone issues began to emerge, and nothing I did seemed to help. I researched well-regarded dermatologists in the area and Dr Sherber kept coming to my attention. I had done my due diligence and knew Dr Sherber was extraordinarily well-educated, but her kindness, empathy and compassion (almost) trump her intellect and talent. I have been undergoing treatment for my hyperpigmentation with Dr Sherber using the Clear and Brilliant laser. Between the laser and Dr Sherber overhauling my previous skincare routine (of course, kindly and only after I asked as Dr Sherber does not sell you on anything not asked about, needed or proven to be effective) my skin has literally never looked better. I am floored by the dramatic improvements I have seen over the last year. But moreover, I simply look forward to seeing Dr Sherber as she takes such a genuine interest in the lives of her patients. Dr Sherber always displays such kindness and compassion that can be a challenge to find in doctors of her caliber. If ever a loved one needed a dermatologist for any reason, Dr Sherber is the person I would chose, no question. Between Dr Sherber herself, her nurse, Eagon, and the front office staff (Georgeanne, Leslie and Allison are three of the most polished and professional people you will ever have the good fortune to meet) I sincerely look forward to my appointments. Dr. Sherber has transformed not only my skin itself, but also my understanding of skin and how different products applied to skin work and/or don't work. I had been to several different dermatologists all over DC on a persistent skin issue I have been having for years. I felt immediately better after visiting Dr. Sherber and hear team. They take a holistic approach to treatment. It's not all about meds with them. They use prescriptions in combination with great skin products and they teach you how to take better care of your skin. And my issue has finally cleared after years. They're also extremely accommodating with last minute or urgent appointments. All in all the staff are probably the best I've seen ever in a medial practice...from the front office/retail staff to the medical staff...A+++!!!

Having been in a position to watch the brilliant, creative, and very caring child Noelle grow into the highly accomplished Dr. Sherber, when she opened her private practice, I enthusiastically became her patient. Each visit is a pleasure. Her staff is welcoming, friendly, and professional. Dr. Sherber always allows plenty of time for conversation. She listens carefully to my concerns and questions and explains procedures and her recommendations clearly in an effort to educate me and to be sure that she and I are in agreement about goals and expectations. Recently I was unsure about a particular treatment but still anxious to find a solution. She carefully explained exactly what she would do and what I could expect in coming days. She warned me to not expect the perfect result until 5 days had passed. I agreed to the treatment. The following 5 days unfolded exactly as she had described and by day 6 I was thrilled that I had gone ahead with the repair. I have total, unqualified faith in her medical skill and knowledge. I have recommended her without qualification to friends, many of who have become as devoted to her service as have I.

After suffering from adult acne well into my 30's, I thought I was going to have to live with this for the rest of my life. I had a dermatologist in DC who prescribed antibiotics and antibiotic cream. All I got was red, irritated skin. Enter Dr. Sherber who took one look at my face and stopped the antibiotics immediately. She took 45 minutes to talk to me: about products I use, my health history, my lifestyle, what I hoped to achieve, any concerns I had. She explained everything carefully and answered all my questions. She is very warm and easy to talk to, and so professional. I left feeling optimistic about my skin for the first time in my life. I have continued to see her and the difference in my skin is amazing. I also love her staff, as they are friendly, professional, and help you with anything you need.

Both Drs. Sherber and Rad are incredibly patient and kind. Their staff is courteous, helpful and non-judgmental. The entire group has made sure my experience has been positive and relatively stress free.

Dr. Sherber is among the best dermatologists in the DC/MD/VA area. She is super down to earth, compassionate and sharp as a tact. What more can you want in a doctor? She is a great listener as well--a rarity in this industry. Her staff members are friendly, professional and always eager to help with your unique needs. What's great about her DC location is that she has a sleek retail storefront, meticulously lined with top-notch skin/makeup/hair (etc.) products (not just stuff you can find at Sephora). If you are a passerby, please do not be intimidated but go in. The staff members are super friendly and helpful. Behind the scenes are discreet rooms for consultation/treatment, and relaxing lounge rooms to make you feel as relaxed as possible. Each time I go see Dr. Sherber, I know that my needs are being met. I trust her professionalism and efficient solutions to my unique issues. She definitely knows what she is doing. We all need to care for ourselves now and then, why not go to the best?

Dr. Sherber is absolutely the best! She is very knowledgable and has experience with the latest and most efficient techniques. One thing I love about this Dr. is that she educates you as to what would be best and what would look the most natural. From the beginning I asked her to do cosmetic procedures so no one would think "she has had work done" and Dr. Sherber has always respected that. She answers all your questions and gives her expert opinion honestly. She gets to know her patients and she remembers what they like. I travel to see Dr. Sherber and will continue to do so as long as she is practicing!

I started seeing Dr. Sherber several years ago in Baltimore, from there I followed her to Virginia and finally to DC, even making stops to see her while I lived in California. I have being seeing Dr. Sherber for over a year for both "cosmetic" (e.g. anti-aging) and medical (unfavorable scarring from car wreck) treatments. She is exceptional in all areas of her field of skin care, repair, and maintenance. The quality of my skin (and overall appearance) has DRASTICALLY improved. She takes a soft, but extremely effective approach to all facets of skin care and repair. She has the cutting edge technology and, more importantly, the knowledge and skill about how to use it. In an age where every doctor is buying the newest tools to sell skin care treatment (lasers, etc.), Dr. Sherber actually delivers - no hype!

We thought our daughterâ??s problem was only skin deep. It wasnâ??t. At least six allergists and dermatologists had kept on prescribing creams, but only Dr. Sherber saw through the dermatalogical â??presentationâ?? to the cause, and therefore to correct treatment: with a graduated sequence of tests, she connected the dots into the picture that had escaped everyone else. Dr. Sherber is a superb specialist, but in addition she clearly brought scope to our daughterâ??s case, siting the problem in a broader medical context. She then followed up with referrals to just the right specialists, and stayed in the loop. She is smart, thorough, and detailed, with a reassuring bedside manner. She focused her full attention on our daughterâ??s case, and gave her nuanced care, keen insight and a level of wisdom that might be expected of doctors many years her senior. We canâ??t thank her enough for her knowledge, clarity and caring professionalism.

I have been seeing Dr. Sherber for over a year for melasma and have been so impressed by her. Her medical knowledge is very thorough an uptodate and she is also very aware of the commercial field of dermatology and does an excellent job at blending them both- without trying to push unnecessary products on me. She has done a tremendous job with my skin and is so patient in explaining her recommendations and so flexible with my schedule as a pediatrician. I would recommend her without any hesitation!

Dr. Sherber kindly saw me when I had an unrelated office visit with her husband and co-worker, Dr. Rad. She examined my skin and quickly diagnosed the problem. She is just as brilliant as Dr. Rad, with an equally warm and confident manner. Even though I was not a scheduled patient, she did not rush the visit. The best news: she cured my problem, which had been a chronic condition for nearly two years. I can't wait to make an appointment for a skin care consult to get her recommendations for anti-aging treatments. I predict the synergy between these two physicians will make them the go-to dermatology and plastic surgery practice in the metro DC area. Lucky patients!

Dr. Sherber is the most attentive, patient oriented physician that I have encountered. Every appointment is on time, and she stays with you until you are correctly diagnosed, treated/prescribed, and counseled about your condition. Not every physician trained at Johns Hopkins and Columbia (as Dr. Sherber is) will remember and refer to your medical history every time they see you, but Dr. Sherber will. I highly recommend her- I have been with her for many years and honestly would no longer go anywhere else.

She explains in layman terms what each procedure she recommends will accomplish. And comes through with the results promised.
