Dr. Ohad Menashe Benyehuda, MD

When I became pregnant with twins, I asked my gynecologist to refer an obstetrician who would have a similar approach; compassionate, thorough and a partner through the process. He took one second to come up with Dr. Ben-Yehuda's name and he couldn't have been more accurate. Dr. Ben-Yehuda made every appointment a pleasure. He welcomed my husband to be a part of the experience. We never felt rushed as he answered every question and gave detailed explanations for each test and step of the process. His charming bedside manner and calm presence instilled confidence immediately. He never treated my twin pregnancy as a liability, or cause for undue concern. But rather like any other, except with more frequent monitoring towards the end to ensure both babies were thriving. During our 17-week scan, Dr. Ben noticed something unusual with our baby boy. He was very calm as he took his time to confirm what he saw. This moment could have been traumatic if it was mishandled, but Dr. Ben was the picture of professionalism and compassion. He delivered the news that our son had what appeared to be a cleft lip. He immediately called his associate, the High-Risk OB, to squeeze us in for a scan to confirm a bilateral cleft lip and palate. His delivery allowed us to digest the news with confidence that everything would be OK. At a later scan, he noticed that our daughter might be growth restricted, again he rushed us to the High Risk OB who confirmed the diagnosis and they agreed on a timeline that would be safe for delivery. We managed to get to 37 weeks and 4 days! With Dr. Ben, we were always in safe hands. We had some scares, but due to his approach we were calm throughout the process. We had hoped for a vaginal delivery even though our daughter would most likely be breech since Dr. Ben is skilled at assisted breech deliveries. He explained my choices a week before delivery and laid out the risks and benefits of an induced vaginal birth versus a cesarean and left the decision to me. After his thorough counsel, I opted for a scheduled cesarean because I was concerned that our growth restricted daughter may struggle through contractions, or have a cord prolapse, etc. I wanted our twins to arrive in the safest possible way. On the day of delivery, I was very anxious. Dr. Ben arrived to the OR and was as calm as ever. He sat with me before he got started and reassured me that all would be well. The cesarean was flawless, I recovered to near normal within 10 days! Not what I expected and I was ever grateful since I needed to be healthy enough to divide my time between being at home with our daughter and the NICU with our son. I am forever thankful to Dr. Ben-Yehuda. I'll be proud to tell our little ones about the doctor who delivered them! Thank you Dr. Ben-Yehuda and your lovely staff Analy and Lidia. Harper and Oliver arrived safely because of your care.

Dr. Ben Yehuda is the best OB-GYN I’ve ever had! My husband and I just welcomed our first child and we had a great experience from start to finish. The best things about Dr. Ben Yehuda: -You don’t feel rushed. He takes time to explain everything to you and answer questions. This was huge for me, being a first time mom! You can also email him with questions. - He’s extremely kind, friendly, respectful and will make you feel at ease. You can tell he really cares about his patients - He’s very knowledgeable and stays up to date with recent research, so that he can offer you the best information, unlike many doctors who offer outdated information. - He has a low C section rate. This was really important to me in looking for an OB to deliver my child as I didn’t want unnecessary interventions. - On the day of my delivery, I knew I was in good hands no matter what happened. The nurses at the hospital RAVE about him. My baby was tangled in the umbilical cord and his heart rate was dropping. Dr Ben was able to quickly and safely deliver my child without having to resort to an emergency C section. He also stayed calm and reassuring during this emergency situation. In the end, myself and my baby were perfectly healthy! Also, if you’re worried that having a male OB will be weird, DON’T worry about that! Because it isn’t! A few friends have asked me about this and my response has always been that I’ve been more comfortable with Dr. Ben than any of the female OB’s I’ve seen before him. He also made my husband feel totally comfortable. Everyone in the office is wonderful, too. Highly recommend this doctor!

Look no further! Go see Dr. Ben-Yehuda!! I am a registered nurse and Dr. Ben-Yehuda is absolutely amazing. He is so knowledgeable and explains everything thoroughly. He has excellent bedside manner, and talks through the pros and cons of every decision so you can make the best decisions for yourself. Every single appointment was on time and the appointments never felt rushed. He delivered our baby boy and coached me through pushing. He was so calm throughout the delivery, it made us calm. My husband doesn’t have any medical background and understood everything he said as well. We both really trusted being in Dr. Ben-Yehuda’s care. He is so friendly and kind and he really cares about each one of his patients; I can’t say enough good things about him!! The front desk staff (Lidia and Analy) are wonderful as welThey are friendly, quick to respond to emails, and helped me fill out paperwork for work and maternity leave pay. I was referred to Dr. Ben by my manager at work and I'm so glad I was! When i found out that i was pregnant i really didnt know where to start. I wasn't really looking to shop around for a doctor but as soon as i met with him my 1st visit, i knew that he would be my doctor. From the pregnancy to birth to postpartum, he has been with me every step of the way. He explained what every test was and why we needed to do it. He always asked if we had any questions. He is always available for questions through email and responds pretty quickly, usually within a few hours. I struggled shortly afterbirth and to have your doctor personally call is the kind of service you really need. I am so glad I was referred to him I cant imagine going through this journey with any other doctor. I must also give some praise to Lydia who works in the office. She was very helpful to me when it came to disability problems and emailing me back and forth to find therapists. She is very friendly and caring. Luke and I will always be thankful for them.

Today i needed surgery on my leg I heard the docter ben yehuda was out of town but when I told him I was in need of surgery he left his family vacation and came to help me. Dr. Ben yehuda will always be there for you he is the best docter in the world. And i highly recomend going to him

Dr. Ben Yehuda is the absolute best doctor there is. Both my husband and I work in the medical field, so we had a discerning eye for what we liked, and wanted, in the doctor/office that would provide our prenatal care and delivery. I visited a few other doctors early in my pregnancy, but Dr. Ben-Yehuda was above-all, the best. He is extremely detailed, and informative. I learned, and understood, so much more about my pregnancy. He explains everything, and thoroughly. He has a beautiful office that feels clean, and in order. The appointments are scheduled just right; there was never a wait. I felt I was the only patient there, every time. I also loved the efficiency of the office, with everything done in-office; blood tests, glucose test, and ultrasounds. I never had to go to a second appointment at another location, for any part of my prenatal care. Dr. Ben-Yehuda always called me with test results, very promptly, sometimes even the next day. He’s also available by email, and so are the office staff, Lidia and Genesis. He and his wife hosted a one-time, first-time parents class that I found to be extremely valuable and comprehensive of everything one needs to know! Saved us so much time and money to not have to take any additional courses, elsewhere. I also ran into quite a bit of insurance trouble the last month of my pregnancy, but Dr. Ben Yehuda has an insurance specialist on staff, who was able to create a solution for us. She was magnificent, and clever. Then finally, the delivery... Our baby took his time, going 11 days past his due date. Dr. Ben Yehuda never rushed the process, and did everything he could to heed to Mother Nature. Also, our baby was estimated to be very large, but Dr. Ben Yehuda kept a c-section birth as a last resort. Fortunately, with his help, I was able to still deliver vaginally, and heal promptly. Overall, it’s apparent that Dr. Ben-Yehuda genuinely loves his work and his patients. I am actually looking forward to my next pregnancy so that I can be under his care once again!

My experience with Doctor Ben has started when I got pregnant. My friend recommended Dr. Ben to me and I was never disappointed. It was really important for me to find a good doctor for my health and health of my new little miracle that was growing inside. Dr. Ben was very gentle, carrying and understanding. He answered all of my questions during my pregnancy. He is very patient, calm and intelligent. Also, his staff members were always very nice to me. I recommend Dr. Ben for everyone! He is THE BEST!!!

I never thought i can have such a great memory from labor and it's all because of Dr. Ben Yehuda. My labor was so peacefull and the energy was amazing. Dr. Ben Yehuda gave me the most amazing feeling and I felt like me and my daughter are in good hands the whole time.

I went through the pregnancy and the birth of my first child with Dr. Ben. I couldn't be happier or have felt more cared for if I tried. He listens, allows you to talk, gets back to you quickly when you reach out to him. The women in his office are so kind and considerate. It was such a breath of fresh air to be treated so well when you hear so many horror stories.

Dr. Ben-Yehuda is a fantastic OB-GYN. He gave thorough explanations, never rushed my appointments, and is one of the most patient-centered doctors I have ever worked with. He remembered me and my partner by name after only one visit and he was always available by email, usually responding in an hour or two!

Dr Ben Yahuda is returning my faith in Drs in general. Approves things done naturally. He is quick but it doesn't feel like he's rushing you AND returns calls himself on the same day.

The best OB in the Valley. He is kind, smart, caring, and makes you feel like no one else matters. I have gone to him for 15 years and wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Love Dr. Ben. He delivered both of my daughters in 2012 and 2015. He is thorough in his explanations of everything during my pre and postpartum visits. In the delivery room he is calm, and does no unnecessary procedures. He is always up to date on the latest information for expecting moms, and his wife gives a great baby prep class that's part of your care. He always makes sure to take his time with your appointment, and is rarely late for his appointments, which is very hard to come by. I highly recommend Dr. Ben!

I will try to be very fair and honest in my review. I went to Dr? Ben Yehuda for my second pregnancy. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his exams and spent a great amount of time explaining everything to me and my husband. The first weird thing that happened, was when they tried to collect the delivery fee 2 months in advance. When I said to the office manager I would rather do the procedure and get an EOB from the insurance company and THEN pay the fees she said " This is the office policy and he won't perform the c-section if it's not paid for in advance". Same thing occurred with cord blood collection. He wouldn't do it unless his $250 fee was paid in full, although other OB/GYNs don't even charge to put the cord in the banking container! Then there was a mix up with the date of the delivery and....the real problem started when 3-4 days prior to the scheduled c-section date I would call the doctor EVERYDAY and complain about chills and sweats and his answer was always the same thing: " If you don't have fever(which I didn't) there is no need for you to be seen". It appears that I had "chorioamnionitis" and he missed it.....because of that one of the most precious times of my life turned into a nightmare. My brand new baby was incubated and every time the doctors put needles in her tiny veins (for antibiotics) or everyday they came to test her hearing (antibiotics at that age can permanently effect baby's hearing) I couldn't stop wondering if I had gone with another OB/GYN, could all of this been avoided...... Thank God baby and I are ok now....but the last straw was when I had a very severe pain on my left side and decided to see him since he had all my history. I had the choice to see other doctors, but waited till that afternoon to see HIM since he had all my records. To make a long story short they couldn't verify my insurance eligibility since we had just changed insurance and I told the nurse if till the end of visit it is not verified I WILL pay you as a cash patient. But he would NOT examine me unless I paid upfront !!! He did not take my word for it. I told him :" I am sitting here half-naked, what do you want me to do? " He said: " No problem just give me your credit card and I'll have the front office take care of it !! Because he couldn't wait 10 more minutes for his money, he not only lost a patient for life, but also a cyst removal surgery fee and it turns out this was because of his ignorance as well for not putting me on birth control pills even though he knew I had a history of ovarian cysts !!!! If you want a MONEY HUNGRY doctor who will leave you high and dry when you need him the most and forgot the medical oath he took and prioritizes Money over treating his patients then go to him!!! I I I hope no one will ever go through what my whole family went through.

Dr. Ben is a wonderful caring doctor. I found him when I discovered I was pregnant, from the first visit I was impressed with his manner. Dr Ben does all testing and ultrasounds in his office, and personally calls with all test results. He takes the time to explain every test and the results of them. I had a difficult delivery, which ended in an emergency c-section, but I felt confident through the entire process that I was in the best care with Dr. Ben. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him, and I would recommend him without hesitation to any woman, whether for pregnancy or regular gynecological visits. Dr. Ben's staff is equally wonderful, they are just as invested in their patients and were easy to work with to schedule appointments or answer questions.
