Dr. Patrick J Ross, MD

Dr. Patrick Ross took excellent care of me. I believed his expertise saved my life regarding cancer through early detection. Kind and very compassionate and also a Godly man. If you ever need surgery, this is the surgeon you want. So thankful and greatful he is my surgeon!

Nearly five years ago, I was suffering from the worst reflux ever. I was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia. Dr. Ross was the most amazing surgeon. He was able to repair my stomach and esophagus and here we are five years later with no complications or problems whatsoever. He was excellent and I highly recommend him and his wonderful staff. ~Elizabeth S.

Dr Ross is personable, dedicated and compassionate. He is hard-working and yet maintains a cheerful, optimistic attitude when seeing patients, even at the end of a long day. Both my husband and I have been his patients. And from the perspective of being involved as the family member of his patient, and as actually being the patient, I can say that Dr Ross deserves more than 5 stars!

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Patrick Ross as my surgeon for a recent procedure. His front office staff, back office, as well as he,himself were all very wonderful, and personal! Recovery is going well, just as he expressed it would be! Thanks Dr. Ross!

Dr. Ross was the 3rd specialist we had seen over the past 4-6 months. Needless to say we are in desperate need and badly wanted answers to the cause of such rapid deterioration of my husbands quality of life. Dr Ross was no help at all. We waited 2 hours before we were actually seen and he wouldn't even listen to the symptoms my husband had! Seeing as how he installs mesh you would think he would be able to give you some type of medical information regarding mesh related issues after the fact. Dr. Ross ordered an ultrasound which was performed in a timely manner and NEVER called with results! We called over a period of 3 weeks requesting results with no response or care from anyone at that office. However he did offer to place more mesh in my husband on "hernias" he found that we have since had a 2nd opinion on and they are so small and are of no threat to my husbands health. I highly do NOT recommend Dr. Ross

Dr. Ross and his nurse Julie are two of the hardest working people I have met. They really care about their patients and go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. When I was having problems with my incisions, I was able to send a picture and they were able to tell me if I needed to come in for a visit or what I could do at home to treat it. I felt very comfortable doing that and proves how important technology is. Dr. Ross and Julie are always quick to get back with you and are very professional. I am proud to have them as part of my medical care team. Thank you for all you do and for the sacrifices you make. You are greatly appreciated.

When I first went to Dr Ross he was very prompt. If I had a concern or issue I was responded to right away, now it is days if I even get a response. His nurse used to be friendly and made you feel like she truly cared and was concerned about you as a patient, but lately has been very short and acts like you don't matter. It is very disappointing to see these changes. I would still recommend Dr Ross to others. I don't know if they are overbooked or what, but I hope the future holds better results.

Dr. Ross was the on-call surgeon when I came to the emergency room in acute abdominal distress which required emergency surgery. He explained the procedure in detail, putting me at ease. He continues to provide patient focused compassionate care. His nurse Julie is outstanding. Highly recommend Dr. Ross.

Dr Ross and his nurse Julie are the best anyone could ask for. They are very prompt in getting with you for anything you need. They go above and beyond in everything. I especially appreciate the fact that Dr Ross didn't give up on finding the source of my pain when most would have. Julie has been very helpful with paperwork and taking care of everything. She is all around AWESOME!!! I would recommend Dr Ross to family and friends. I have had a lot of surgeries, but this was by far the best and easiest I have ever been through. One thing I would like to have seen him do was some X-Rays or something to make sure the inside was healing properly, not just the outside. Keep the fabulous care!!!!

All ok except sent biopsy of knot on my neck to the wrong lab that pays 100%. He is a PPO doctor, so should have know what lab to send it to. I told the lady at front desk who it had to be sent to also. Instead of having to pay 0 amount for lab had to pay over $300.00 my part. Biopsy he took came back non-conclusive instead of benign or cancerous. That's interesting. Neck has had terrible pain since he took the test. Great guy to be around, and so is his staff. I won't ever be back. Hope my neck some day quits hurting especially at night. Only thing I know of that could make it hurt so bad. Started and has not ended since went to him.

Dr. Ross has excellent communication skills along with the ability to show true empathy. He has taken time to call when he said he would and makes sure all of our questions were answered. We highly recommend Dr. Ross.

When Dr. Ross saw me the first time and listened to my complaints he made a tentative diagnosis and described the surgical proceedure it would take to repair the problem. More definitive test confirmed his original suspicions. My esophagus no longer had the natural movement, peristolisis, that moves food from the top of the esophagus through the digestive tract (achalasia) and the sphincter at the bottom of the esophagus was hardened so food would barely pass to the stomach. When he started the laparoscopic surgery he found a hiatial hernia and part of my stomach was in the chest cavity. After removing considerable scar tissue from the hernia he moved the stomach to its proper place then closed the hernia. After all of this he did the repair of the esophagus he originally set out to do. I went home 53 hours after the surgery and went back to my retirement job 11 days after surgery. I couldn't have asked for a finer, more proficent, kind and caring person. In my younger days I was an Operating Room Technician in the Navy so I know how complex this procedure was. I can't believe all he accomplished in less than three hours of surgery. I can swallow without problems now and am looking forward to dinning out with my wife after not being able to for over three years. Thanks Dr. Ross!when he started the surgery

This doctor runs at full speed but seriously takes time to spend with all his patients. Extremely knowledgeable and amazing in his gifting.

STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. DOCTOR HAS A VERY GOOD BEDSIDE MANNER TOOK TIME TO EXPLAIN ALL ASPECTS OF THE PROCEDURE. BEING MY SON IS A MINOR SPOKE TO HIM DIRECTLY TO MAKE SURE HE UNDERSTOOD AND ANSWERED QUESTIONS AND CALMED HIS FEARS. TREATED US WITH RESPECT WHICH CAN BE HARD TO FIND AND WE HAVE BEEN TO THE BEST AND LARGEST HOSPITALS IN DALLS.

He stated that he had not performed a surgery to remove a Denver Cath before so he wouldn't do it. I guess he didn't go to school to learn how to perform surgery?? What a waste of $40 and 2 hours...only 5 minutes of which was spent with "Dr. Ross". Very disappointing and would not recommend to my worst enemy.
