Dr. Paul Thomas Cirangle, MD

I chose San Francisco because I live in Redding and the doctors don't even compare to Dr. Cirangles care. I appreciate being treated with a friendly and honest opinion and that what I get as well.

Dr. Cirangle came highly recommended. I had my consultation and he doesn't more than an hour with me answering my questions and helping me decide whether surgery was right for me. He was patient and never made me feel rushed. I had surgery six months ago and everything went perfectly. Little to no pain and my results have been amazing - already lost almost 100 lbs!!!. He always is available if I have a question and his office girls are great. Overall, this has been the best decision of my life and I wouldn't choose anyone else as my doctor. A++++++ experience.

Five years after VSG, I have maintained my weight loss. I am active, healthy on no medications and just celebrated my 70th birthday with family, friends and no birthday cake. It is still work but well worth it. Life is an adventure to enjoy.

His office is a well oiled money machine and he has unethical business practices such as keeping deposits. Avoid him.

Dr. Cirangle is the best in his field. I had seen several surgeons and he was head and shoulders above the rest. My surgery went flawlessly and in just a few short months have lost more than 45 pounds!

My only regret is not doing this years ago. After surgery I could breathe, walk, sleep, and feel signifigantly better. I honestly forgot how a healthy person feels after being fat for so many years. Dr. C is an angel and my family and I will be thanking him for the rest of my life.

I was ashamed of my body my whole adulthood due to my weight. When I was labeled "morbidly obese" that was my bottom. My whole experience with Dr. C and his practice has been incredibly smooth. Losing 100 pounds is no easy task, so you really need all of his resources to suceed. Or at least I did. Wonderful, wonderful doctor.

I had a great expereince with Dr. Cirangle and his whole staff. If someone were to ask me about my experience, I would say that it has been great. Dr. Cirangle is great. I'm not going to say it's really easy afterwards. But if you do what he says and stick to the program your life will completely change.

Loved Dr. C. Told it to me straight and that's exactly the kick in the behind I needed.Everyone in the office was very helpful and made everything easy for me. All I had to do was show up for surgery! And of course do the work after.I really appreciated the educational materials he provides.It's become like a bible in my house!Now I'm working on getting my husband to do the same thing (sleeve gastrectemy).

I had surgery with Dr. Cirangle. I wanted to have the vertical sleeve surgery but my insurance wouldn't approve it. Dr. Cirangle and his insurance office filed appeals and fought hard for me...and won! I was able to get the surgery I felt was truely best for me. I have now lost over 60lbs in 2 months and life just keeps getting better and better. My only regret was not having Dr. Cirangle do this sooner. I couldn't be happier with my experience.

Dr. Cirangle was great. He was very informative and my surgery went flawlessly! He is world renown (pioneer of the sleeve). I cannot say enough about him. His office staff is marvelous as well!

Dr. Cirangle did my weight loss surgery. Outstanding doc,no complications or problems and was able to lose enough weight to go to my class reunion and not be the fat girl. Priceless.

When I decided I wanted weight loss surgery, I wanted it right away. Dr. Cirangle saw me on a Saturday. I had a Lap Band a little over 2 weeks later. Marsha and Marilyn at the business office handled EVERYTHING for me. The post operative materials have become bibles to me. I lost over 20 pounds in the first month. I finally feel comfortable to speak in work meetings, go to the gym, and I don't feel like my kids are embarassed of me.

I had a duodenal switch with Dr Cirangle and lost 115lbs in a year. From the initial consult to the appointment was a couple of weeks. Insurance office took care of everything for me. Dr C's surgical skills are superb. However, having a doc that's compassionate and caring was a happy surprise. Us fat people are used to having unpleasant medical care. I wish Dr C was my regular doc and Gyn as well. Only regret- not doing the surgery sooner.

I made an appointment with Dr. Cirangle's office with Chrissy (excellent and very caring) and she was able to get me in on a Sunday due to my work schedule. What doctor does that? Awesome.I had weight loss surgery 3 weeks after my consultation. I knew right away that Dr. Cirangle was the right choice. The only choice, really. I felt so comfortable with him and I knew right away that he was going to help me get my life back.I wanted a surgery that my insurance doesn't pay for so I decided to pay out of pocket. Best money I ever spent. The girls at Quantum business office were great as well.I have already referred co-workers and friends to Dr. Cirangle. My sister is going to see him soon, as she is amazed (and a little jealous) of my progress.
