Had bilateral carpal tunnel 1-1/2 weeks ago and other than some soreness from procedure, I am 95% at full usage - no trigger fingers, no arm pain, no tingling or numbness. As a guitarist for 40 years, I knew the day would finally catch up with me where my hands would succumb to something like carpal tunnel and along with it came trigger finger. You can only imagine when you do something professionally as well as for passion how scary it is when your hands are in horrible pain, a finger randomly snapping and waking up to numbness barely able to bend your fingers. A friend told me about Dr Paterson and his unique minimally invasive surgical techniques for carpal tunnel that included a quick recovery. I’ve never been more impressed with a surgeon!!! I went for consultation and was assured that surgery should indeed have a quick recovery. I play live performances regularly through the year. I had a small break in the schedule of one weekend and was told let’s do it the Monday before the off weekend and that I could be back the following weekend after performing again. (11days later) I was actually playing guitar lightly within 4 days of surgery and back to full performance within that 11 days as promised. I was given daily text updates sometimes even twice a day telling me what to expect or do next in the post surgical process, Including videos and exercises. This was extremely impressive, helpful, comforting and reassuring during the process. Also during my initial consultation,I noticed Dr Paterson had a public invitation for a carpal tunnel relief live demonstration/seminar and etiology of the condition as well as a q&a with himself, staff and the patient volunteer post their surgery on anything conditions related as well as insurance questions. I attended this prior to surgery to learn more and hear from everyone including a live patient immediately after procedure!! Extremely helpful and above and beyond!! Between both the texts and the seminar, I’ve never seen such attention to detail. And my outcome, as I write this a little over two months since the procedure of carpal tunnel relief on both hands and trigger finger relief on the left hand middle finger is I’m finally starting to feel normal again in my hands for the first time in over a year and playing better than ever. Such a relieving feeling mentally and physically!! I can’t recommend Dr Paterson enough for anyone suffering the effects of carpal tunnel, trigger finger or any type of hand pain. I had bilateral carpel tunnel release on a Tuesday and was back to work 5 days later on Sunday . I’m a nurse and I work full time. I would recommend Dr Paterson and his release and relief surgery to anyone. It was easy , he made it fun and he and his staff were very thorough and explained everything during and after the procedure wonderfully. His follow up texts were spot on daily and helpful and made a big difference in what to expect . I didn’t realize how much strength and SLEEP I had lost before the surgery. THANK YOU DR PATERSON !!!

Dr Paterson is the perfect example of patient focused care. His pre and post op instructions and education were exceptionally thorough. The text messages were well timed and spot on for addressing my current stage of recovery. Dr Paterson and his team are comforting and reassuring. My recovery has been remarkable with almost total use of my hands in under two weeks and minimal discomfort.

Dr. Patterson and his whole team give top notch care. I most recently had bilateral carpal tunnel release. It’s so easy! And the Doctor and his team make any anxieties go away with their care. Texting messages for 2 weeks after! He should be an example to other doctors!

My procedure was quick and easy. Dr. Paterson made me feel comfortable prior and during the procedure. He asked what kind of music I’d like to listen to and said it is beneficial to the recovery of the procedure. He was calm didn’t rush and answered all my questions. When I had a follow up question a couple days later he was very reachable and again gave me their personalized attention. I enjoyed the text messages I receive from his practice and the tips on stretching. Being in my 2nd trimester this was a real comfort to me!

From start to Finnish it was smooth sailing. I had pain and numbness for about 8 years and am now pain free and regaining strength daily! All staff members were pleasant and efficient. One hour total from walking in door to diagnosis , treatment and on my way. There are daily texts from office with reminders, exercises and what to expect along with an easy to contact someone in case you have questions or need to see doctor. Excellent experience. Why did I wait so long! Compared to my friends who had traditional carpal tunnel surgery, recovery was a breeze.

Dr. Paterson and his team and staff are absolutely wonderful! I have to say, I was not sure what to expect. The procedure was quick. The usual discomfort after surgery was not bad at all. My hand, finger and wrist gain strength daily. Antonio and Nicolette were great! Stephanie put me at ease. I felt comfortable with Dr. Paterson as soon as I met him. The daily text messages and videos with the exercises were a great help. The personal touch of receiving a bag with the pen, stress ball and cookie were a special treat. These are uncommon but very much appreciated additions to the kind staff in Dr. Paterson's office. 2 great surgery results in 6 months! First the tendon release equaled instant relief from zings! Then the carpal tunnel was amazing, quick, easy no stitch no pain !
