Dr. Paul Eugene Shields, DO

Dr. Shields was my parent's doctor at a local skilled care facility. He used sound medical principles, spent a great deal of time with our family, and basically saved my mother's life. We are grateful for his care.

His answer to a patient in chronic pain for 24 hrs was if you dont like the treatment then find another facility. We did thank god before he caused serious issues. Worst Dr ever met in 56 years.

He is a doctor that is very down to earth but tells you how it is. This picture of him doesn't do him justice. If anyone lives around or in Erie, PA; you need to check him out professionally. His staff, Kelly, Debbie and I forget the third one's name is very friendly and easy going. They are the staff that like to get to know the patients and Kelly hates the cold (I don't blame her). If I ever move back into the area again, I would seriously go back to him to be my doctor.

Dr. Shields doesn't practice medical dogma which is prevalent in the health care industry. He is open-minded to alternative approaches and does not push pills. He takes time to listen to the needs and concerns of the patient. You leave his office feeling genuinely cared for.

Very attentive to my needs and very thorough examination as well. I have never encountered a more caring support staff. My entire family switched to him. Also, the follow up was fine but for some reason when I filled this out I couldn't 'grade that one'

Not only was he unprofessional, he was surprisingly rude as well.Stay away from this incompetent if you care about your health.
