Dr. Pauline Camu Aquino, MD

She has been the doctor for myself and my daughter for many years. She is very caring and genuinely wants the best for you.

I am so happy my wife introduced me to her Dr. She is a really Pro Active, and has gotten my Bloodwork and health greatly improved after sticking with a Male Dr I had for 20 yrs that was not on top of a lot of things. Sometimes you have to be patient waiting for her in exam room. But that is because she always sits and explains to me any issues, or test results I have or need. She doesn't rush you off, & I am so happy I found her. Hopefully she continues to practice for many more yrs in our city of Clio.

I am in the process of looking for a new doctor for my family. Dr Aquino is the worst doctor I've ever seen. I really believe she's only in it for the money and not to care for people. She gives a hard time to give out any scripts. Even for an inhaler which is what I needed. If I have an asthma attack right now I'm going to be in big trouble. She wouldn't fill it when I was in there last time. Saying I needed another appointment to do a breathing test. I can't afford to pay for another office visit right now. She's very rude and just walks out of the room when she's done and doesn't ask if I have any questions. I went in for my physical recently but she didn't hardly do anything. I've had them done before with other doctors so I know what usually is done during the physical. I'm sure she's billing my insurance for a physical in which she really didn't do any of the things required for it. Her office staff are just as awful. Not friendly at all and very rude.

I am severely disappointed in the care my grandmother received while under Dr. Aquino's care. The doctor goes on vacation often and has no form of coverage while she is gone, leaving the patient to only get care via the emergency department even for non-emergency issues. During the doctor's most recent vacation, my grandmother was diagnosed with a terminal illness and subsequently a significant increase in pain. When we called the office to address this issue we were told that the doctor would be out for another week and a half, with no backup doctor, and we would just have to wait. We feel that is unacceptable.

Lacks knowledge and manners It's a shame that there are people that call themselves physicians that do not know what they are doing. Sad. Scary. Waste of time.

Goog visit very concerning

Absolutely the greatest Doctor! She is so on top of everything regarding my health! I love her staff, they go above and beyond! I will never look for another Doctor until I have to!

She goes above and beyond what is expected of most doctors and truly cares about her patients.

This Doctor needs to get another front window person. This new person who replaced Bambi doesn't know what she is doing. I was sad to learn that she was no longer here because she took care of my needs but this new one doesn't know what is going on. I tried to give time to get comfortable but everything has been down hill since she left. And the nurse looks so frustrated and doesnt have time to help you. So rude and unprofessional! Maybe they are overworked all I know is I didn't use to have this problem!

The doctor is nice. Don't care for the wait time but my last doctor wait was longer. The medical assistant doesn't care to take time with you. She takes you back but doesn't work fast to get the things done so you can leave. I just leave her alone and talk to Bambi, she is the one who works up front. I go to her for everything. She takes time for u tp answer your questions.

Dr. Aquino and her staff are very nice. I've been with her 2 years and moved my whole family to her office. Her office is located across from walmart on vienna road now however She was located down the street with Dr. Arbogast. He was my Dr. and while I liked him his staff was very rude to the patients and nothing gets done there. I noticed that she relocated and decided to try her out. Her staff are so much better. The MA is so sweet and the girl up front is a happy person she always smiling and likes to joke around which makes me feel more comfortable. I was worried that I would have the same issue with things not getting done quickly because she only has 2 people working for her unlike the other office with many more than that. However thats not the case. My referrals get done quickly and everything is electronic. I was concern that they have numerous voicemails to leave messages but my calls have always been returned and honestly I like it because instead of calling over and over and being on hold I can leave a message and my issue is taken care of. I highly recommend this Dr and her staff they are wonderful.  

I have seen Dr. Aquino for only a year and have found her very helpful. She listens to my problems and helps me understand what I need to do to help myself with her care. We work as a team and I feel better because she lets me know when we are not on the same page. She is very direct and is looking out for your best interest. She only has 2 staff and they are both very friendly. The front desk girl is very helpful and goes out of her way to help. At first I thought she was going to be rude but as I got to know the office I realized that she takes care of most of the office responsiblities and is just busy. I took the time to get to know her and found out that she is very sweet, My wife and I both love her now. I had a back issue that put me out of work for a while. My short term disabilty was being denied even though I had done everything I could do. The girl fought for me and spent extra time on my case to get it resolved and if it wasn't for her dedication I wouldn't have gotten the financial help I needed. I only see the MA when she takes me back but shes friendly enough. I love this office. The office is also very calming. There is a longer wait around 25 minutes but Dr. Aquino will see you for issues not listed at the time of scheduling which puts her behind but helps her patients. I'm willing to wait for her care. Overall very friendly!

I had seen her for about 3 years. At first I was happy with her until during a visit I explained I thought it was time afor another colonoscopy because the problems I was having. FYI I was previously diagnosed with diverticulitis disease, and it had been 3 years since my last exam. She said and I quote "If you did not have cancer 3 years ago then you won't have it now because it takes 10 years for cancer to grow!" That was her exact words! So it was a while before I went back, but changing doctors is not easy so I stayed. My recent run in with her I went to the ER because I had a headache like no other. I ended up having a spinal tap which caused me bigger problems. I went back to her and explained the extreme rush of pain and pressure in my tail bone when I stood up. She said well lets do an xray but it sounds like arthritis, wth???? So I left to get the xray, I then called her back to ask for a slip to rest a few more days because I could hardly even walk. She said no, not until the x-ray came back and showed something significant. I'm like "I cant even walk, I guess I will go back to emergency then". A few days later I still had not heard back about my xray so still in extreme pain I finally went to the ER. She has now discharged me as a patient stating I did not cooperate with her medical advice! She also had saw my 19 yr old a year ago for back pain and told him he had scoliosis. He did not see her again for a year because he was living out of town. He just went back to see her about the same problem and low nad behold she tells him no he don't have scoliosis because it was not prevalent today! What a joke!

Dr. Aquino, and her staff, are the worst group of people I've been forced to work with as a patient. I cannot emphasize enough the lack of empathy I received while getting treatment, and her complete lack of professionalism. For example, I had a severe sinus infection that was inflaming my cheeks--I went to my doctor, and she recommended I go to the emergency room. Serious, you think? I waited there and paid high premiums to receive over the counter antibiotics. This is only one example of being charged double for her poor services. Another example would be that on a different hospital visit, also inspired by Dr. Aquino, it was discovered that I had a tumor that should have been caught by Aquino during my regular paps. What a poor doctor!

She has been my doctor for about 8years. I like how she communicates with me and gets to the bottom of my problem. She is very knowledgeable and caring person

Get a new Medical Receptionist. Bambi is terrible...and frankly, I am going to be looking for another Doctor because of her.

She is an amazing physician but her receptionist is very cold and rude. I have heard the receptionist talk about patient's diagnosis/tests with other staff and she is VERY VERY unpleasant on the phone. I have switched physicians based on the receptionist's lack of skill and professionalism.

Dr Aquino is a great doctor. She's very sweet and explains things to you. I've moved and I am just now switching doctors after more than a year because she was so great. Her staff is nice too.
