I purchased the multi-focal lens and highly recommend the investment in your eyesight. I had no complications and caring service. I had both eyes done. Dr Polack is a busy Dr/surgeon, but he took the time to answer all of my questions. I rate his surgical skills and bedside manner 5/5. Wait time is appropriate for this busy office and the staff is courteous and efficient. I also appreciated that the surgical center provided transportation for me for the days that I had surgery. After an eye muscle repair by a different doctor also at Ocala Eye, i was left with ghosting and blurred vision from my eye being opened too wide causing dry eye plus my lens (implanted 40 years ago was loosened more). I was pretty scared. Dr Pollack offered no resolution and essentially left me thinking “it is what it is” and said I didn’t need another appointment for another year. He switched that appointment to be with an optometrist. Patient caring attitude was nil. He was in and out of the examination room in no more than 5 minutes. I was left wondering if I would ever see right again and what was happening with my lens implant. Extremely disappointing.

I got a call at 11 30 and was told I could see the doctor at one pm. . After an exam from the tech I waited almost an hour (with 10 others) and finally saw the doctor for less than 5 minutes. Left the office at about 230. Poor scheduling by the staff.

Dr. Polack is a brilliant surgeon and really cares about his patients. He saved the vision in my right eye in 2017, it took several procedures and surgeries but he did it. Fast forward to 2023, my left eye needed cataract surgery, there have been issues, he is the very best! I know I am in the good hands. I am confident for my sight to be normal and so glad I am in his care!
