Dr. Philip Anthony Karpos, MD

From my first appointment through diagnosis, knee replacement surgery and recovery, Dr. Karpos was thorough and extremely competent. He took time to explain everything along the way so I felt prepared, confident and knew clearly what my part in recovery was. He is patient, kind and skillful.

Dr. Carpos was so very kind and compassionate. I appreciated his assessment and help.

Diagnosis and consultation could not have gone better. This guy is considered “the best” for hip/knee replacement by surgical colleagues and by legal profession as an “expert witness” . My case is complicated by necessity for lumbar back surgery as well as hip replacement. Dr Karpos is working collaboratively with back surgeon to come up with best treatment plan and explained options logically a d very well.

Came to the office with in a lot of pain in both my knees.. I found the office staff very courteous and efficient. Dr. Karpos was very sympathetic and explained the procedure to me. After having my knees injected and being fitted with a cane I came home feeling much better about my future. Injections have temporarily taken away my pain.

Have been going to Dr. Karpos for years. He has always done an excellent job. Have had both knees replaced and both shoulders replaced. I have never had any problems or infections. I have also referred several people to him because he is so efficient and good. He is the best as far as I am concerned!!

I’ve experienced several knee problems over the past 25 years and have always gone to Dr Karpos. The latest is a total knee replacement. I was comforrable throughout the process knowing he was performing the surgery.

After 2 hip replacements done beautifully by Dr Karpos I got sick and went into another hospital for treatment. I went home with MRSA from an IV. It went into my bloodstream and hips. Dr Karpos cleared it all up finally and gave me two new hips that work great!

I initially had left knee replacement 11.5 years ago and I had an excellent experience with Dr Karpos as my physician. I have returned to him for a right knee consultation. I think very highly of his skill and expertise as an orthopedic surgeon and would highly recommend him to friends.

Dr. Karpos skillfully repaired my bummed up knee several months ago with two tiny incisions. He has been consistent in checking it periodically and making sure it is performing as it should. I am very satisfied!
