My wife had 28 radiation treatments for rectal cancer and was VERY pleased with the entire staff. Two thumbs up and 5 gold stars!

All care providers are important no matter what health issues you may experience. But I will say that having stage 4 tonsil cancer, it was life or death for me. I was treated with dignity, precision and concern. And really all you need to know is that Dr. Shrake and his team saved my life. Dr Shrake also worked in unison with my Oncologist and ENT to ensure all the treatments I required succeeded together. His compassion and helpfulness guided me through a tough battle. I had a series of 3 Radiation treatments over the course of 3 weeks. Dr Shrake and his Nurse, Natalie explained the proceedings in detail before we started. During each treatment my Nurse, Natalie was there with me the entire time, making sure I was comfortable and not left alone in a room for any length of time. I have never had better experience from a Medical team. Even the ladies in Billing were friendly and helpful!

Dr Shrake was recomended to me by my urologist at very scary time having just been told that I have prostrate cancer. From the first appointment Dr Shrake explained all the available procedures to me and let me decide on my treatment, the seed implants, with his recommendations. From the beginning he explained everything and throughout the treatments he explained what each each procedure would be and always took the time to answer my questions. The staff, from the scheduler,recepionists in the front office, the techs and nurses were all so helpfull, kind and understanding. Appointments throughout the radiation treatments and office visits were always on time.

Throughout the entire process, I found Dr. Shrake to be a very knowledgeable and caring physician. He explained every process in detail and answered my questions with easy to understand explanations. His staff, from the receptionists, schedulers, radiation therapists, nurses, and associated physicians, provided efficient and excellent care. Everyone was incredibly friendly and customer-focused. I recommend Dr. Shrake and his practice without reservation. Definitely a "Five Star" experience.

Great Communication and Service

Dr. Shrake and his entire staff made us feel like we were family. They not only treated me with kindness and compassion but also my family members who came with me to treatments. We always feel at home when we come in the doors. The office staff is all smiles as soon as they see you. Everyone you come in contact with asks how you are and if you need anything and will do anything they can to help you feel better. They always have a big puzzle going in the lobby that your family members can do while they're waiting for you, and there is a coffee/tea station to welcome you along with a water station to make sure you get enough water in! My appointments always ran on time and were never late during the entire time we've been going to the clinic. Everything runs like clockwork. I can't express how wonderful Dr. Shrake and everyone in his office is, from the techs to the nurses, the nutritionists and front office. It was a blessing to have found such a caring place to receive treatment. --SJ

We entered into a difficult place, unaware of all of the nuances and challenges of radiation therapy. Dr. Shrake and his entire team were kind, welcoming, upbeat, and attentive. They greeted us everyday with gracious concern. They were timely, prepared, and, yet, treated us as if we were the most important people they would see that day. We watched them treat every patient that way over a long thirty-five day regimen. They answered questions, were prepared professionals, and helped us celebrate the successful treatment. They helped allay the fear of the unknown, and we will be forever grateful to them for their skill and kindness.

The absolute best. How fortunate I was to have Dr Shrake as my Radiation Oncologist. Cancer is scary enough without having a medical professional to help guide & coach you through it. It's something that I'd never experienced before & I didn't know what I didn't know. Dr Shrake (and his excellent staff) anticipated questions / conditions / situations and were there to help me through it all. As questions & concerns came up, Dr Shrake took the time to provide answers and offer his council. The man is very good at what he does.
