Dr. Philip Andrew Yazbak, MD

I can never say enough. His manner in office visits, and before surgery is magnificent. Between my recent 2 surgeries and my husbands years ago for a back fusion, we can say with much experirnce, he is one of the best. He knows so much yet he keeps things light hearted, he makes me feel comfortable, answers questions, and gets what needs to be done, done. Trust is #1. I have that with Dr. YAZBAK. Ive seen peoe post about him "talking over" patients. Not the case. He talks fast, gets to the point but he listens and answers! He works for the patient.

Dr. Yazbak has all the qualities one could ask for when considering a surgeon. He is caring and very approachable, and extremely capable. I felt that I was in the best possible hands, when it came to surgery involving my face, which was a concern for me. He exudes confidence as well as compassion, which is a wonderful blend of talents. After experiencing his level of care, he is my gold standard when it comes to excellence in medical practice. My experience with this physician was absolutely horrific. 1 surgery and will not think twice about another. No bedside manner, over talks his patients, persists on his way despite patients wishes, Would give him 0 stars if I could. Will not refer anyone to him.

Just heard about this site, so decided to leave a review from an experience back in 2001 or so. Had gone to several doctors and surgeons and was not satisfied. Saw Dr. Yazbak, was very comfortable with him, and felt he was very competent, partly based on recommendations from other doctors and partly from my meetings with him. 100% positive result from the laminectomy he gave me (also, other people can hardly see the scar on the back of my neck). Highly recommend him without any reservations.

four years ago..my husband was losing the use of his thumb and hand..we were led to Dr. Yazbak...Yes, he is quick on the draw..but he performed surgery within 5 days..and no problems since..Yes, I recommend Dr. Yazbak if you want the job done..and grateful to him..thank you Dr. Yazbak...

Excellence

It was just by chance that my mom had Dr. Yazbak as her neurosurgeon. The night she had her MRI - he happened to be on call. I'm so grateful that he was, because I'm positive we could never have chosen a finer surgeon for her. From the very first call, he put us at ease. Her surgery was a great success, even though her brain tumor ended up being a GBM. She has surpassed the average life expectancy of most GBM patients, and I'm certain it's because he did such a wonderful job of removing all her initial tumor. He has given me the greatest gift of all - more time with my mom and the ability for her to be present at the birth of my second child. Dr. Yazbak goes above and beyond for his patients AND their family members. He calls on weekends or after hours to answer questions and has a great bedside manner. He listens and respects the wishes of the patient and family and provides guidance where there is SO much uncertainty. I would have absolutely no reservations if my family or myself needed any kind of procedure from him because I know he is highly skilled. I cannot say enough good things about him. He did back surgery & fusion in 2010

Unbelievable! Had been dealing with pain for eleven years before I was told about Dr. Yazbak. No one had diagnosed my problem. Had tried PT, epidermals and Chiropractors

I was sent to Dr. Yazbak after my MRI revealed a brain tumor. He was the most friendliest doctor I had ever been to and I've seen quite a few lately. He was able to get me in for surgery within a couple days and everything went fantastic. He truly is a gifted surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone. And his staff is wonderful and friendly too.

at first I did not want to even believe this was happening but it was true and basically between my daughter and this doctor they have saved my life

Over a year as a half ago, my husband who at the time was my fiancé was taken in to Oshkosh mercy hospital for fainting at work. He couldn't recall why he had fainted. The immediately did an MRI and transferred him toThedaClark in Neenah. He had between 7-10 pus pockets on his brain. All a variety in size. So Friday they did testing. Saturday, Dr. Yazbach cut open his head and removed a pus pocket from his brain. I had only been 18 years old. My husband was a healthy 22 year old. What had caused this was crazy. Turns out after 6 days in the ICU, an amazing recovery from his brain surgery. We finally went home. After 3 months of being of work with a continuous infhsion of penicillin through a pic line and 3 months of pills. Everything cleared. After 6 months he was cleared with no more pus pockets. With Dr. Yazbach and Dr. Onunkwo. I have a healthy 24 year old husband again.

Dr. Yazbak went above and beyond my expectations, answering questions from my family, talking with them on weekends when it wasn't his turn to be on call, following up with me after my surgery. His manner put me at ease despite the seriousness of my illness. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I love Dr.Yazbak, his bedside manner and caring attitude were quite refreshing. We had a wonderful experience with him in dealing with my elderly mother and her surgery. Recovery is going very well and she is pain free at this point. Thank you Doc. We love you.

While I do not question Dr. Yazbak's knowledge in his field of expertise I do question his bed-side manner & the way in which he treats his patients. He is egotistical & does not make himself available for the time a patient needs. Every time my Mother went to see him & I accompanied her, he was in a rush. Our questions were rarely answered. Many times we were left stunned by his inability to actually be human & give us his attention. He always seems preoccupied & has said it's because he doesn't have time for anything with the amount of patients he has. Both my Mother & myself have had several surgeries done by him & have known him for about 15 yrs. or so.

Dr. Yazbak performed 2 procedures on me with excellent results. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a neurosurgeon. He is an outstanding physician!
