Dr Chen is very kind, caring, and always tries to find alternatives to pain medication, but understanding when it is truly needed.

After years of back pain, Dr. Chen was able to give me the relief from 95% of my chronic pain. I had a nerve stimulater implanted in my back from St. Jude. I will never go elsewhere for any issues concerning my back or any other pain management concerns. Dr. Poly Chen and his remarkable staff are professional, caring and most important to me "listeners". They go above & beyond all expectations .

Dr. Chen has his office set up efficiently to move the patients through. Unfortunately, it feels like you're in a cattle run. The first meeting is intense and you get the feeling like he really cares and understandsee. Then you're set up for injections where you're moved through like cattle. After the first appointment, you only see the PA, not Dr. Chen. My last hip injection was not like the first and they didn't explain that they would be getting very personal and exposing my vagina. I was on my period and was extremely uncomfortable with how they did it and the fact that they didn't explain it ahead of time. The injections did help for about 8 months. Then when saying I needed something more, the PA said that the injections should last longer and be enough. I felt like they didn't think I was in pain anymore. I missed two appointments. I called to cancel both more than 24 hours prior. They charged me for them. I disputed the charges, They sent me to collections and now won't return my calls.

Dr. Poly Chen literally gave me back my life. I had been bed ridden, basically immobile for six years. Dr. Poly Chen was compassionate and preformed the miracle he promised. I now walk, easily! without walker or cane! My only wishes are that I had found him years ago and that my father would have been able to enjoy walking painlessly. I went through my first round of shots last year, and I can tell the next round is coming up, but I have no fears about the coming procedure. I have, and will continue to recommend Dr. Poly Chen to anyone with severe back problems.

Dont like that even after going to Dr Chens Office for over 5 years, he doesnt even know my name!! He used to but since he expanded so quickly (which Im thrilled for his success) he doesnt see any of us "regulars' anymore. However Don is AMAZING!! BEST PA EVER!!! :)

I have seen Dr Chen on and off for over 3 years. He is the best pain care I have ever seen. The person above rated because he wont give them drugs. That is nôt a reason to give one star. Sounds like there now hooked on drugs. Dr. Chen takes fantastic care of his patients. He listens answers all questions and puts you at ease. I would recommend him to my own family. The fact he wont give the person above pain to me shows that he wont gives shows he will not be responsible to create a drug addict. The point to pain care is to look at other options so you don't become a medicated vegetable. He wants to help you get your life back so you can live a normal life. Without being medicated all the time.

I'm back to working out! I have never found a more efficient doctor for my pain relief. Dr. Chen and his team used procedures to get me off my narcotics. Don't see this doctor if you only want to keep using narcotics. I wanted to find another solution after my surgeon told me there is no surgery that can be done for my back pain. My head is now clear, and I'm enjoying not going to my doctors for narcotics every month.

Dr Chen works with you to find other options than just mess. To stop your pain. If the meds. are the only things that works he does not just take you off them he works to find a way to stop the pain.
