Dr. Praveen K. Mambalam, MD

Dr. Mambalam is more interested in treatments he can bill than the well being of his patients. He is cold and seems disinterested in anything I had to say. I would avoid this doctor if you actually want someone to help manage your pain.

Its the way he talks. Lacking compassion and sympathy. Dropped him instantly. No way. Never again. I must say he is almost the worst doc I have ever seen in my life.

Dr. Mambalam explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. I feel very confident in Dr. Mambalam.

His information is narrow and overall uninformed. Washington Center for Pain Management says they are "multi-disciplinary" but ACTIVELY DISCOURAGE pain management with ANY OTHER DISCIPLINE.

He is a bully. I was with him for less than ten minutes and he made feel like I was a criminal. He is very closed minded and gives out bad information. I would NOT recommend him to my enemies let alone my friends. He considers his patients liabilities. He charged me $700. I'm never going back there again.

I just saw this doctor for the first time. He interrupted me ever time I spoke. He raised his voice to a uncomfortable level. I left his office feeling a bit frightened of him. After reading his reviews I can see that many of his patients have had the same feeling. I would not recommend him to a relative or a friend.

I wish instead of interrupting me to insist I'm addicted to my pain medication he would listen and be compassionate. In all my years I have never run into someone so unwilling to work with me unless I agree to the injections in my spine, which I will not do. I came to this practice with a pain management plan that had been working for me and wasn't asking for more medication but a continuance of the plan I already had in place. I think I will begin looking for a new Dr

Arrogant and is quick to get a patient in for clinical procedures that benefit him financially but only cause patients with pain additional unnecessary increases of stress and more pain. If you are looking for actual help with pain management, do not see this doctor.

I'm not convinced he's really working for the patients benefit. I will return his pill prescription without refill. Wrong side of the mmj debate.

All they care about is making money.

I am a little afraid of this doctor and his methods. First appt I sat in lobby one hour and 20 minutes. Never got an apology. Then two weeks later a nurse called me about explaining my appointment for an injection procedure that I had not made. Dr. M had only mentioned such a thing as perhaps one method to reduce my pain. Was told to get an MRI. Second appointment, he explained the injection procedure to me and I was told to try it. He comes across as a bit shady. I would not buy a car from him so I don't know if I can trust his medical knowledge to proceed with the injection procedure. Handsome, articulate, well dressed. Almost too well dressed; gives the illusion of being in it for the money.

This doctor is very shady. Not a very open person. Judges patients instead of giving them the benefit of the doubt. Tries to sell instead of being genuinely concerned for the patient. Pompous. Selfish. Horrible bedside manners. Thinks he knows best of a patient that he doesn't know from his next door neighbor. Doesn't care about patients concerns or feelings about treatment. Needs to be counseled on how to treat patients. Will not be successful if he just doing this for the money. Pain patients need sympathy, love, gentleness, kindness and patience. He possesses none of those qualities. Recommend that he see a counselor to help him get over any trust and arrogance issues that he has.

2 knee surgerys, bad accidents, lotta pain and need a knee replacement. But he won't help my pain. WONT PERSCRIBE PAIN MEDS TO PEOPLE THAT REALLY NEED THEM. Tried selling in-house nerve blocker shots and non narcotic cream. I can barly walk and can't do my carrer anymore because of my pain. Beware of the scam. The more Appts the more money he makes so he likes to make a lot and try stupid illite stuff that hasn't been proven to work. Typical dr that is scared of making big boy decisions

I made apt. 30 days in advance and upon arrival he did not have my records. I traveled 500 miles to see this man. He did not look at my 30 page intake questionnaire or discuss any of my questions. Was rude and condescending. Oh, and by the way, he does not offer any help on first visit, Just in case you are in PAIN. THATS JUST THEIR POLICY.

Dr. Mambalam is a good doctor but should look for a different location to work. This place is a joke.
