Dr. Prem Parmar, MD

I have been a patient with Dr.Parmar for 22 yrs. He has done and awesome job in my shoulder and knee surgery. He is definitely does not sugar anything. He does not tell you what you want to hear. He is such a caring doctor to where I would not seek no other. Thank you Dr. Parmar for your amazing service. Job well done!!!

If anyone is on Work comp, please do not see this corrupt, unethical, uncaring "Doctor". Understand this, he does not care about you, and your pain, all he wants is your employers money. so when you see a moral decent Doctor has your best interest at heart. Dr. Parmar has your employers best interest at heart. He will make you wait, he will eventually come in, let what you say go in one ear, and out the other. He will do the very least amount he has to. Avoid this Doctor.

If you're in this Doctors "care" and it is Work Comp, just know he has your employers best interest at heart, NOT yours.

I'm in my 50s and a veteran of several sports related leg traumas. This is the only ortho surgeon who has been able to go in my knees and provide a thorough restoration that has allowed a fairly complete-total recovery for re-engaging in my wide range of athletic activities. He did my second ACL replacement on my always problematic right-knee, back in 2011, and it's the only one that has held together flawlessly to this day! Other orthos kept suggestion leave as is and an eventual knee replacement. Most recently he worked on my left knee with an arthoscopic surgery after I injured it (p.s. not a good idea to try doing leg splits in your 50s) He cleaned all arthritis away, shaved a spur, and clipped away some torn meniscus. The leg feels fantastic! Highly recommended, particularly if you're looking at orthopedic medicine that is focused on recovery for athletic activity.

Dr Parmar tells it like it is in a way that is easy to understand in no nonsense kind of way. If you have questions he is more than happy to answer them and his staff is always responsive when I call or email. This is my second surgery (left shoulder and two years later right shoulder) with him and he is very good at explaining how things are pre and post surgery and the follow up call the day after surgery shows his concern for his patients. Office visits are always quick with very little time waiting to be seen. I hope I don't have any additional surgeries, but if I do I will have no problem with Dr Parmar doing the work. Great surgeon!

I have never seen a Doctor not care if you are hurting before.I had shoulder surgery and I have had tight muscles-I have a bad neck-even though he never gave me any muscle relaxer-he refused to do so-I went to urgent care--they examined me and gave me flexeril .If you need a Doc who could care less if you hurt or need additional help-he is your Guy.

I was able to get in right away. There wasn't a long wait in the office. He explained everything to me. He was courteous and friendly. I would recommend him.

So very to the point and knows hat he is talking about! Did my husbands knee surgery and it went GREAT and he is feeling much better.

I had a bimalleolar fracture in my right ankle. He was quick, responsive, explanatory. Excellent.

Dr. Parmar was very informative and listened attentively to the pain I was experiencing. I did get lost on the way to his office as I am from Michigan and not to familiar with the area. The staff still found time for Dr. Parmar to exam me. I have always heard very nice things about Dr. Parmar from my co-workers it is nice to know that they were true.

He has done to surgery's on my left Knee. One repairing my knee in the army after my injury. The second time six years later. after I fell off the back of my Truck.

Got a second opinion so there was no need for follow-up.

this was a 3 min. Doctor who was in a rush, I never took my coat off nor got on a exam. table

In 2004, I had an injury that was very severe to my leg. Dr. Parmar gave me hope when there was none. He fixed my injury and never was to busy for me when I had a question. I Love him and wouldnt hesitate to send friends and family to him for at least a consultation. Hes the man for the job!

Dr. Parmar repaired my rotator a few weeks ago. I had extensive damage and he put me back together without a hitch. He is very genuine. His knowledge and surgical skills are top notch. He followed up with me post surgery and my wait time at his offices have been less than 10 minutes. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I arrived at the outpatient facilty for my scheduled 7:30AM surgery but was later told that a mistake was made by the appointment desk. The actual time was 12:30PM. I asked Dr. Parmar if I could reschedule because I did not want to wait for 5 hours. He told me that if I rescheduled, he cannot see me until late July. He then stated that if I cannot wait for him, then go find another surgeon because its not going to hurt his ego. I was appalled by his comments and unprofessionalism. He treated me like a number and not as a patient. I went with my gut instinct, took his advice, and found another doctor. Within 10 days, I have already been seen and rescheduled for another surgery. Needless to say, my new doctor was more than professional and treated me like a patient. If you need a orthopedic surgeon, please find someone else. I did more research on Dr. Parmar and the colleagues in his field does not speak too highly of him. He reminds of a used car salesman.....talked a good game and convinced you to buy the car....but the car turned out to be a lemon!!

Dr. Parmar is a friendly guy but spends no time talking to the patient. The day of my surgery he seemed in a hurry and didn't stay to speak to my wife when the surgery was over. I wouldn't use him again.

Extremely personable, spends time explaining diagnosis and treatment options. Would recommend to family.
