Dr. Prerak Dinesh Shah, MD

Dr. Shah is kind, patient and caring. He takes the time to explain complex medical topics in a simplified manner. I recently had a Septoplasty, Turbinate reduction, and polyp removal by Dr. Shah at the Orchard Surgical Center. Although I’m in the very early stages of recovery, I can already say this is best decision I have ever made. I haven’t been able to breathe though my nose for about 20 years (32 y/o male). What I like most about Dr. Shah is although he is clearly a skilled, high-volume surgeon, he does not jump to surgery immediately as many other Dr’s do. Instead, he carefully rules out all other possible causes to ensure the most impactful outcome. When he took my splints out, he shared my excitement after watching me take my first breaths though my nose; he clearly loves what he does. I’m glad I did my research which led me to Dr. Shah!

Dr. Shah is a great doctor. I recently visited him for my throat and hearing issues. He thoroughly checked me up with kind and thoughtful concern in regard to my health and provided me with excellent medical and physical advice. A superior level doctor and I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Due to thyroid cancer, I had four surgeries. He explains exactly what he has to do and then the best part-he does it. He is caring, attentive, and makes you feel whatever you have to get through-you can. Saw me or my family member directly after the surgery. Next day was there or staff member. Follow up appointment shares pictures and explains how the surgery went. Took 108 lymph nodes out. A trememdous "catch" for me to have a chance to beat this. I praise my other endo Dr. Liu for referring me to him. A great surgeon.

He also performed a thyroid surgery on me and always answered my questions before I could even ask them.
