Hate to sound cliche, but if I could give 0 stars, I would. Don't understand where the positive reviews come from. Maybe they're entered into a drawing for a basket of skincare products Brought my son there because his acne was flaring up. As I'm filling out paperwork, there's a section dedicated to providing your credit card info. What is this for, you ask? Well, when insurance will only cover part of your visit, this gives them the authority to just go ahead and charge your card. How convenient. I did NOT provide my credit card info nor sign this section. Why give that when you have insurance? Follow me, if you will, to the front desk to hand in our papers. The receptionist then tells me that I have a $200 copay. I tell her we don't have copays on our insurance and anything insurance doesn't cover gets billed. She then explains that it's their "office policy" to collect up front. My son really needs to see the dr, so I put it on my card. I text my ex who is the primary name on my son's insurance to tell him what's going on. He calls them and they give him the whole speech about office policy and also tell him that part of that money is a "new patient fee". I was never told that. She told him that if I am owed any money, I can call them back with my card info and they will issue a refund. Insurance can take months. Off we go into the exam room. The PA (I guess) takes our info. At this point, our 6pm appointment is approaching 7 pm. Dr Kushner comes in, talks to my son, finds out history, looks at his face, etc. Nothing spectacular. She's going to prescribe some medications that have to be filled at this special mail order pharmacy that she uses because "brand names are better". What? I have NEVER in my life had a Dr or a pharmacist say that. I'm thinking this woman must have some special interest in this mail order place. I ask if insurance covers this pharm and was told by PA that they should, or if not, they have discounts. Why did they ask for my local pharmacy info? Look at other reviews. We are not alone. Then, Dr Kushner goes on to talk about doing some type of peel for my son and I can find out fees at front desk. Ummmm....I don't think so. Exam took about 10 minutes. We go to front desk to schedule follow up appointment (which I am going to cancel, but make sure it's more than 24 hours, because more money, more money, more money!) and I ask "Will I be charged again for next visit?" I am told yes, because (come on, say it with me) IT'S THEIR OFFICE POLICY to collect ahead. But no worries, because we probably met our deductible and it will only "be something like 20%". I told her that I have never been to a doctor that does this and once again "office policy". I told her I need my money, but who cares? Do NOT go to this Dr. What is the purpose of insurance if they're going to make you pay ALL up front? Why take insurance? Sad thing is, I got her name from Blue Cross' list of doctors in the network. I feel stupid for giving her my card and should've just said I didn't have it on me, but would she have turned us away? I honestly think this money-hungry female dog would. Never going back and am spreading the word.

The awesome reviews must be from friends or colleagues. I highly doubt they are from real patients. Be practical .. find a real dermatologist or waste your time and energy going there. Or find yourself writing a real review as I am.

Dr. Kushner is pleasant and professional . I like the services I received as a new, then returning patient. The PA Maggie was equally pleasant and professional. I didn't like the occasional extended wait time prior to being escorted to the exam room at which time there has always been prompt service by the technician while awaiting the doctor or PA who are with you momentarily. I would definitely recommend Dr Kushner to a friend.

I was pleased and very satisfied, I would definitely recommend Dr. Kushner. She was knowledgeable and listened to what my concerns were.

The wait was about 45 minutes for a 5 minute exam. I came for her to check out a few spots on my skin that I was concerned about and a Full body check. I never had such a terrible body check in my life. She hardly took a glance. She zapped a couple of spots although she thought that it would not work... so why not perform something that WOULD work. She only wanted me to come back it 2 weeks so she could bill again. I don't think I would ever go back.

Everyone in Dr. Kushner's office is friendly and helpful. I woke up with a rash and they fit me in right away. She prescribed me a medication and within 2 days the rash was almost gone. She lsitened and answered all of my questions. I would definitely return.

Dr. Kushner has helped clear up my acne which I have been suffering with for so long! After seeing so many different docs I have finally found the solution. The wait time isnt too bad, about 20 minutes, and she and her staff are very friendly. Thank you Dr. K!!

The minute I walked into the office I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. She made me feel right at home. Dr. Kushner is an excellent physician. She is caring and answered all my questions- I had quite a few. She did not rush me and gave me all the time I needed. I wish there would be more doctors around like her.

I really liked Dr. Kushner. Both my wife and I saw her. She's competent, friendly, and trustworthy. She made me feel comfortable and handled a couple of my problems right away. Here staff was great was well.

The wait time is almost always an hour. They wanted me to make an appointment just to give me the results of a minor test (how about calling me with the results?) Wanting me to come back every 3-4 weeks after each visit is way to often and totally unnecessary. Don't even think about a refill on prescriptions, they want you to schedual an appointment if you need more (it's all about the money)

Waiting time in her office is more than an hour even if you have an appointment. She will see you in 5 mins. Whats the rush??? Copay first before treatment. No copay no treatment. The doctor will not finish the treatment so you will be obliged to go back and pay another copay. No! I will never go back to her and will not recommend her to my friends.

Waiting time is way too long!!! She checked me for only 5 mins. She did not finished the treatment so i have to come back for another co pay of $50.

Dr. Kushner was great and treated me with respect. She answered all my questions and took all the time I needed. Her office is pleasant and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend Dr k.

My experience in this office was fantastic. The staff is professional and courteous; the doctor treated me with great care and professionalism. A wonderful experience.
