Dr. Raheel Bengali, MD

After waiting for over a month (their scheduling) I recently had the first of three Epidural Steroid Injection (ESI) by Dr. Raheel Bengali (Tricity Pain Associates) He injected steroids at around my lumbar spine none of which was into the epidural space as promised, it was extremely painful and provided no relief whatsoever. I would highly recommend Dr. Bengali for pain management. Dr. Bengali and his staff provides the care I need. They are very punctual and there is little to no wait. They listen to what I have to say and then plan the treatment that is best for my conditions. If you’re looking for a well-educated, well-trained, experienced, up-to-date doctor, Dr. Bengali is all that and more! He really listens, and comes up with a realistic plan. He wants to be sure you understand, gives you time to ask questions, and explains things well. I love that he is always accompanied by a note-taker which is so efficient as he can focus on the patient and not on paperwork. My pain has been greatly reduced and I am so thankful Dr. Bengali!

I cannot recommend Dr. Bengali enough. I am young to be having spinal issues (31). I have bad scoliosis and degenerative disc disease, arthritis and bulging discs from years of heavy powerlifting (weightlifting). Dr. Bengali has done a great job in diagnosing my issues as well as treating me. Unfortunately I am having surgery with a neuro spine surgeon, but that's just the way life is sometimes. Dr. Bengali has done everything from injections to various medications to keep my functional and pain free!

Dr. Bengali is extremely knowledge in the field of pain management. He listens and based on test results and input from the patient he will recommend a plan. It might include medications and procedures. He is compassionate and aims to control pain. I would recommend him without reservation.

Dr. Bengali is funny and very intelligent and really takes the time to explain things.

I have had nothing but great results from Fr Bengali and have been to one other pain doctor on Lubbock Texas and Dr Bengali by far passed the Dr in Lubbock sitting still. He always ask about how I am feeling and manages my pain better than anyone else has. I thank God every day for him.

Dr. Bengali is a patient's best advocate. He spends time addressing problems with insurance when a procedure or medication is not approved. He works closely with staff responsible for obtaining approval from medical insurance. He spends time explaining the physical bone structures where your pain resides and what can be done to relieve the pain. He thoroughly explains the medical procedure he is about to perform. Was very happy to become his patient when Tri City Pain Associates added him to their staff.
