Dr. Raju Suresh Ghate, MD

Dr Ghate is a phenomenal surgeon. He replaced my badly displaced knees and now I am pain free and mobile for the first time in nearly sixty years. It was a five star experience. His staff is very caring and exceptionally knowledgeable. He’s simply the best in my opinion.

Incredible experience where the knee replacement changed my life in terms of activity. Dr Ghate's skill is amazing and I had very little pain and great mobility within a few weeks and it has only gotten better. I was leery of surgery-did a lot of investigating, asked a lot of questions= Dr. Ghate patiently answered all of them, calling me several times- His nurse was also very helpful and responded immediately to all my inquiries- I had two knee replacements- both surgeries were completely painless- I was walking with crutches the same day-without aid within a week. I had full extension within two months and am now running up and down stairs. Can't imagine the surgery could have gone any better. The pain management was perfect-I never had a bit of discomfort.

Arrogant, impatient demeanor. Not above snarling at women in a snide, insulting manner when frustrated.by his own limitations -- in my case, an inability to find adequate pain medication.after his performing an extremely painful knee replacement procedure on me. Would never go back to him.

Dr Berget wanted $19500.00 cash, didn't take Medicare . A friend had a friend who had both knees replaced by Dr Ghate. I'm not interested in bedside manner, just results . Dr Ghate was the best as was his staff. Went to his recommended rehab facility for seven days and used his recommend home health care which was excellent. Five weeks after surgery I started outpatient rehab. After my second visit I was told that my progress was one of the best this therapist has seen five weeks after surgery. I was very lucky to find Dr Ghate .

With all the orthopedic surgeons in the area Dr. Ghate was the best choice.

Greatest doctor and surgeon - Dr. Ghate gave me back my life. Went to another place IB&J - wish I had the money back I wasted. Dr. Ghate did double knee replacement - with his special method and both times I was walking after 3 weeks. Unheard of I know - I too only heard horror stories. Dr. Ghate is truly one of the best surgeons and I have sent now 3 people to see him when knee replacement was their only option. All 3 were thrilled with their outcome and wish they too knew about him earlier before wasting money with other doctors. If knee replacement is needed pick up the phone now and call. Trust me it was the best call I ever made. The nurses and assistants especially Amanda and Heidi are always there when you need them or have a question.

Almost 3 years since double knee replacement. Loved Dr. Ghate. Have recommended him to many people. All have been extremely pleased.

I was very pleased with the results of my total hip replacement..which happened earlier this year. Dr. Ghate was very professional. I did not feel rushed. The staff worked with my insurance needs and included my suggestions in some aftercare decisions. . Dr. addressed my concerns with assurance and answered my questions in detail.. I was glad to find I could stand and even walk a little on the evening of the operation. I had some tingling at the site of the incision. but that did fade away. The wound healed just fine.. I do not have any pain in the the hip with the implant. and will choose Dr. Ghate if I need help with the other hip!

my knee was a complete mess at age 40. Dr Ghate replaced my left knee at age 42. I had almost no pain and I ski , coach soccer and have a normal life back. He is an amazing surgeon, spent 4 hours in surgery to get it just right when he could have removed MCL and finished in 90 minutes- as most surgeons would have done. 5 years later I am still thrilled and knee shows no wear.

Dr. Ghate listens to the patient which is most important. He did my total knee replacement and I couldn't have been in better hands. I did a lot of research and he was not the only surgeon I saw but he was my one and only choice.

Dr Ghate replace my severely arthritic left knee replaced at the age of 42 (4 years ago). He preserved my MCL due to my age, and I've now got my life back. He is a wonderful guy, and a fabulous surgeon who spent extra time to get my badly damaged and malformed leg just right. Can't say enough good stuff about him.
