Dr. Ramin Rahimi, DO

I've been going to Dr Ramin Rahimi's Beltline practice over 3 years. I also have participated in water physical therapy at the Beltline office. On my first visit to Dr Rahimi's office he injected my right hip. I'd been experiencing pain from right hip for years. After just the one injection the hip pain was gone. Thank you so much to everyone at their office they are all wonderful. I highly recommend Dr Rahimi's office for anyone having pain or mobility issues. When I started going to Dr Rahimi's practice I'd been walking with a cane for a year and a half. After about 6 months I was able to walk without the cane. Dr Rahimi's care literally changed my life! My foot dr. referred me to the Rahimi clinic because she said he was a good dr. to diagnosis nerve problems. I have been doing therapy regularly & injections to knees & back as needed. I have had a lot of pain relief & improvements on mobility & motion as it "all" comes together.

I will tell you that I have been coming here for almost a month, Dr.Ramin is my hero with so much improvement already the future is getting brighter. thank you so much .

I have had a total of 8 spinal surgeries (3 while under Dr. Rahimi's care), knee and foot surgeries, and am 46 years old. When I came to Rahimi back in 2019, I was absolutely broken. I could barely walk, and every breath I drew caused me pain. I was about 90 pounds overweight, and in generally bad shape. I was extremely iffy about pain clinics in general because of having some really awful experiences...but Rahimi's clinic is just different. First, he uses a wide combination of modalities. You can expect to have him adjust you physically like a chiropractor. He also uses some really advanced braces that aren't clunky, heavy, hot or awkward to wear, so you can actually USE them in your everyday routine. Dr. Rahimi also uses injection therapies to treat pain. Unlike every other doctor I've ever been to, Rahimi uses Chinese medicine to guide where he places the needles. THIS? Causes the injections to be SIGNIFICANTLY less painful. Moreover, he has so much experience, that he finishes the injections before you even really know he's doing anything. I ALSO really like that since he's actually good at his job, he doesn't have to knock you out, so there's a LOT less down time when you have injections. Dr. Rahimi will spend time with you. He will listen to you cry, whine and moan, and he never seems to run out of empathy. I openly admit I can be a difficult patient, but he's never expressed frustration at me, nor pawned me off on the advanced practice nursing staff. He seems to understand that every patient is different, and he manages to understand that and form treatment plans around the patients personal tolerances, combined with what goals the patient has in mind for recovery. I wanted to go back to being able to run, hike, cycle and do long-distance open water swimming. I wanted to do all the things that young parents can do - namely - chase after their 10 year old without collapsing in a heap at the end of the day. It's a big ask for someone who has broken their lumbar spine 3 times, and had 8 lumbar spine surgeries (See also: Dr. J. Todd Brown). It took about 18 months, and a LOT of very hard work on my behalf, but, I ran a 10k with some friends last weekend. The weekend before that, I went hiking for 7 miles with my family, and still had some gas left in the tank to make dinner and play board games that evening. I started swimming on a master's league this fall. I've signed up for a sprint triathalon for next summer with my niece and nephew. I plan on making t-shirts that say, "Powered by Rahimi Pain and Rehab", because without Dr. Rahimi, and his staff, I would not be doing any of this. I won't say it's easy, I won't say it isn't painful occasionally, but if you're truly dedicated to gaining functionality, Dr. Rahimi, his NP Ashley, Taylor, Jasmine, and the rest of the staff will get you to the place you want to be.

Dr. Rahimi genuinely cares for his patients. He is not overly aggressive in his approach. He never prescribed or administered unnecessary treatments. His physical therapy staff is wonderful! Dr. Rahimi is also wonderful with the elderly and treated my mother with the utmost respect and care.

Dr. Rahimi is a very kind doctor and listens to everything you tell him. He goes above and beyond to help patients with their pain. I was bedridden from the neck and back pain for a while until he started treating me. I cannot thank him enough for everything he has done for me.

Dr. Rahimi is the most thorough provider I have ever been to. I have struggled with knee and back genetic issues, injuries, and pain for most of my life. Dr. Rahimi is the first practitioner to look at my challenges as a whole system and work to get me full relief and mobility. He does not just focus on one piece, but the entire puzzle. After the first series of injection on my right knee, I was able to work up to walking 3.5 miles with absolutely no knee pain during or after. I look forward to continuing to gain more mobility with reduced pain as we begin treatment on my other knee.

I have been going to Dr Rahimi for over a year now . First for back pain which he only helped so so , then a car accident that gave me severe whiplash , then I had a knee replaced . Dr. Rahimi is fine , he tries and I love his PT staff but his office staff is the worst I’ve ever encountered. They don’t even raise their head to say hello when you walk in . That is minor but trying to get help from Jasmine on gettin my ins to pay has been the worst experience I’ve ever had . She NEVER responds to my phone call , acts like I’m bothering her and doesn’t even respond to my ins company when they request info . You would think she would like the office to get paid . My accident was over a year ago and I’m still trying to get the bills paid . If she would just do her job and submit the correct info to the ins co and if she would respond to the ins co . When they ask her questions , it would certainly help. Once I left a message and a week and a half later I called back twice to ask her if she received fhe ins questions , I got a “ oh yeh , she said she didn’t “ Hmm that would have been nice to call me and leave a message saying that ! As much I love the PT staff I will need to find a different office if I’m ever in need again

People in that office are rude

Even with a test that proves I'm in pain. I'm still subject to be treated like an addict. Please do NOT GO HERE. TAYLOR is also rude and ashley is fake. They don't genuinely care. The entire staff is rude. Yes, I slipped up taking more then suppose to, but I have serious back issues with addiction attached to my name. After this I did all recommended follow up. Doing my 15 norcos oppose to 90 when I first started. I have sjorgens and herniated disc in c5 and c6. They refused to bump me up. Mind thus is after me following rules after. It just sucks. Plain sucks. No wonder people are dying from heroin overdose. It's ppl like them who push them. I however will not be pushed. 8 years clean and still labeled all from one mess up. Oh and their schedulers suck.

Dr Rahimi is a rare doctor today, one who actually cares about his patient's healing. He is not only a doctor but also a certified rehabilitation specialist. I take that as both a physical therapist and a medical doctor! Best of both worlds! I had previously seen other doctors and physical therapists for my neck injury before Dr. Rahimi. These other practices actually damaged me and put me in more pain! I was lucky, more like blessed to find Rahimi! He has used a non-drug care plan that has manipulated and helped the neck and even though it has been slow it's reducing the pain and helping me live a normal life again! I did not want injections as I wanted to go as natural as possible. Doctor has done that and I am grateful! When the muscles or pain areas are inflamed, Dr Rahimi can put his fingers on the area and point to the exact area! Amazing. If you want a Doctor who can help you, listen to you and work with you to heal you, you need to see Dr Rahimi! I'm glad I found him and his practice. Oh speaking of the rest of his practice, almost forgot to mention that in the same office he has a physical therapy department with very skilled physical therapists. They even have a pool for hydro therapy! awesome! The facility is the best equipped I've seen, and from my experience I've seen some bad ones. I wanted to share with others about this good doctor.

Wow!!! All I kept hearing about from my 5 other siblings was "Doctor Ramin Rahimi is the best provider ever for Mom". So I went to see for myself. I live a few hours away but that stops none of my Mom's 6 Children in searching for the absolute best care for Mom. This man is remarkable!!! He sincerely takes the time along with the utmost quality care for his patients. A few of my brothers can be hard to please when it comes to finding the best for Mom but... Dr. Rahimi by far is that care giver and my family is so grateful!!!!

Dr. Rahimi and his staff care and LISTEN. He called during off hours to help explain test results and went above and beyond to help with recovery! HIGHLY recommend him.

After our initial meeting, I was confident in his ability to address and manage my pain. Dr. Rahimi literally saved my life. After seeing neurologists for 15 years with being told my condition was all in my head, my health was going down hill fast. After sitting with him for 5 minutes he knew what was wrong. With his guidance with meds and physical therapy I have gotten my life back. Dr. Rahimi communication style is warm, inviting, and empathetic. He knew immediately where my problem areas when observing the way my feet angled. He's proficient in explaining things so that I could understand. I like that he easily can see the big picture of how each part of my body is affecting the other parts. He adjusted my back gently and the tightness went away. He's practical in realizing that PT needs to include being stretched and massaged; not just do these exercises. His practice includes the amazing therapy pool where exercises and maintenance of well being are easier on the body. I was pleasantly surprised when he wanted me to simply check back in after 6 weeks and did not suggest getting an adjustment every week, but that I could certainly come in sooner if the need arose. We discussed utilizing a muscle relaxer and he listened to my concerns and chose something appropriate. He talks a bit fast which really just appeared like passion for solving the pain issue and helping me to become more fluid in my movements. I've been through many PT places for a variety of issues and this office has by far had the most comprehensive approach to my well being.
