Dr. Stone is one of the kindest, compassionate, and most skillful people I have ever met. My mom underwent a robotic hernia repair surgery 7 years ago and my uncle underwent a robotic hernia repair surgery 2-3 years ago, both performed by Dr. Stone. Within 3 months, they both fully recovered and have had perfect outcomes since - no recurrence of hernia or any pain. Dr. Stone's bedside manner was excellent. He stayed in touch during the process, addressed our questions and concerns and explained in a way that was easy to understand. I've also seen Dr. Stone perform surgery in person. I had the opportunity to physically sit in the operating room and directly observe Dr. Stone perform a gallbladder removal surgery and a robotic hernia repair surgery on two patients. He was incredibly gentle with the tissues and precise with the surgical instruments. Both operations were successful, and the two patients were discharged later that day. With respect to operative skill, Dr. Stone is one of the highest-ranking surgeons. He's always keeping up with new techniques and technology in surgery. But I think what makes him great is his compassionate nature and sound judgment. He tailored the treatment plan to my mom's specific needs, and she felt that he truly cared for her well-being. I was referred to Dr. Stone to perform a robotic hernia repair. There was little to no after surgery pain only constipation. The surgery was on Monday and I was working on calls on Wednesday. Dr. Stone and his staff exceed all expectations, him and his staff have great communication. There is not a better general surgeon than Dr. Ramsey Stone.

I was referred to Dr. Stone by my general MD for a hernia. After initial consultation, Dr. Stone scheduled robotic surgery to be preformed due to to possible issues from previous abdominal surgery. I admit I was a little apprehensive, but it couldn't have gone better! There was little to no after surgery pain and the only issues were the expected air pain and constipation.. All of which cleared up quickly and I resumed normal activities within a week. In fact, there were so few of issues, I had to keep reminding myself that I had just had surgery and to not overdue it. I can say that if I ever have the need for Dr. Stone's services again in the future, I would not hesitate and I would highly recommend him to anyone!!

Dr Stone is amazing! I didn't choose Dr Stone, but I was lucky enough to be taken to Presby Plano for a trauma when Dr Stone was on call. He literally saved my life. I found myself in need of a surgeon after I discovered what I thought was an umbilical hernia which was then confirmed by my primary care physician. I went to the almighty Facebook to ask for recommendations and within 5-10 minutes I had multiple comments and messages recommending Dr. Stone and his office. I called and the staff was accommodating in getting a consultation scheduled. Dr. Stone was phenomenal as was his staff when I first visited the office. He thoroughly explained the two surgical options and his coordinator was great in helping me get surgery scheduled and navigating the insurance and financial side. On the day of my surgery, Dr. Stone visited with me and again explained the procedure and ensured I was comfortable and had no questions. Then he offered to pray for me....WOW. How awesome was it for my surgeon to ask the Lord to guide his hands and the hands of his team to protect me and for them to successfully fix my problem and for my comfort as I recovered. I had my two week follow up today and again, couldn't ask for a better experience. Thank you Dr. Stone!

This team is truly amazing. I selected Dr Stone because of all the great reviews, so my expectations were high, yet he and his team exceeded my expectations for their caring, efficiency and professionalism! My hernia surgery was my first surgery ever, so I was nervous. Dr Stone's kind, calm, confident demeanor instantly made me comfortable. From our first meeting through the entire process, he was the best. His office staff is efficient and thoughtful. His team during the surgery were truly amazing. I was unable to get a surgery. Dr Stone allowed me to prepay for the surgery and he saved my life in y eyes. He also did an emergency appendectomy on my mother before and saved her life. I would recommend him to anyone whom I love. I would even go so far as to say he’s probably the best surgeon in Texas. Definitely in my book he is! He even prayed with me a final prayer as it were.. I love him and I don’t even know him other than when he saved me. I would prefer to have him do any future surgeries if I ever need one. I’m a huge fan!!

As an RN, I have had the opportunity to work with many physicians and therefore know that bedside manner isn't always an indicator of quality of care. However, as a patient, I can say it is absolutely an indicator of the level of comfort and peace you have in entrusting your care to that person. My experience with Dr. Stone has set the bar far higher than most any other physician I may ever encounter as a patient would care for. Needing to have surgery scheduled as quickly as possible, my physician called Dr. Stone's office to obtain an appointment for me. Dr. Stone happened to be on vacation the week the call was made; however, this didn't stop Dr. Stone from fielding the call and requesting his staff schedule my appointment ASAP! Having never met the man, I was blown away that he would take the time while on vacation to look out for my best interest. I saw him in office the Monday he returned and was scheduled for surgery that Wednesday. Dr. Stone took all the time needed to explain the procedure thoroughly and answer every question my husband and I asked. His office staff was wonderful and had the patience of Job as we tried to track down previously-drawn labs. I walked out of his office with total confidence in his ability and complete peace about entrusting him with my care. The day of surgery was no different. Dr. Stone visited with me before the procedure and offered to pray with me before going to the OR. To know Dr. Stone sees himself as a tool in the hands of the Great Physician, and to hear him ask for His blessings over his "job" and my well-being gave me the freedom to go back to the OR without a single worry. Post-operatively I was very pleasantly surprised and thankful that Dr. Stone had been thoughtful enough to access my gallbladder through previous procedural incisions so that I didn't have any additional scarring. I had a great experience with Dr. Ramsey Stone in these times of COVID-19! I was a little anxious that I wasn’t going be able to receive help with my gallbladder issues. His office staff was very helpful and informative when I got there. All my questions were answered. They were all very professional and respecting CDC guidelines. I had a consultation with him, and a week after I had my surgery, and two weeks after I had my post op surgery consultation! I had a very positive experience with Dr. Ramsey Stone. Before the surgery he came in and prayed with me for everything to go well- I felt I was in great hands. & now I’m feeling much better!

I recently underwent hernia repair surgery. This involved Robotic incisional hernia repair with mesh and Robotic bilateral inguinal hernia with mesh. I was referred to Dr. Ramsey Stone by another trusted surgeon. During my first visit Dr. Stone took time to make sure I understood the Robotic Surgery procedure, the risk and complications involved. He also explained post-surgical care and made sure that I was comfortable going forward with this surgery. He studied all my abdominal CT scan reports and images and quickly set a date for surgery to avoid further complications. The robotic surgery is minimally invasive and recovery is faster and less painful. Dr. Stone’s confidence gave me lots of courage to undergo this surgery. The surgery prep, procedure, and post op all went extremely well. As Dr. Stone started the procedure he had to overcome several other hurdles. It turned out to be more than normal hernia repair but with his expertise in this area he was able to successfully perform the surgery. He once again responded to my questions before surgery, checked with me before beginning the operation to put me at comfort. Dr. Stone’s bedside manners are extremely well. During my follow-up visit he explained how the incision would heal and what to expect in subsequent weeks. He also provided detailed report of the findings and techniques he used to perform the surgery. I found Dr. Stone to be a most caring, competent, thorough and very compassionate doctor. Dr. Stone is a great surgeon! He and his staff are nice, clear and concise. His surgery skills are smooth and he makes sure it’s practically painless. Post surgery if you follow the instructions you’ll have virtually no pain.

I'm a competitive runner and after many many miles, developed a torn abdominal wall. My primary care dr referred me to Dr. Stone for my injury. My main concern was not being able to get back to the starting line. Dr. Stone assured me that I would be ok. We opted for the surgery, to repair my tear, and I was on the start line for the New York Marathon within four months. I can't thank him enough.
