Dr. Rasesh Rohitbhai Desai, MD

Both of my knees had been bone on bone for well over 15 years, and I was finally ready for the TKR surgeries. I did my usual online research and Dr Desai stood out as very favorable. I had seen him a couple of years ago for my spine, so he was not a stranger to me. We reviewed my MRIs and he explained in detail about the surgeries, how they would be robot-assisted, which replacements he would use, and what I could expect post-surgery. He was very thorough. I felt ready to move forward and we scheduled my left TKR in April. Everything went well. My right TKR was scheduled in August. I had mentioned to Dr Desai that the hospitalist had given me a hard time about pain meds after my first surgery; he told me that he and I were a team and we determined my meds together. He then left instructions with the nursing staff that if there were any problems with other doctors or medications to call his cell phone immediately. He made himself available. And I now have the knees of a 20-year-old!

i was sedintary for 10 years after a bad knee surgery. the pain in my right knee was so bad that i went to dr desai. he is absolutely the best and gave me my faith in doctors back. if you have orthopedic problems go to the best, dr desai

Dr.Desai is always smiling and so friendly, he cares about all his patients,,he has helped me beable to stay walking if it wasn't for Dr.D I would be in a wheel chair so to me and in my eyes he is the greatest. So Thank you so much Dr.Desai

Dr.Desai is a wonderful doctor who I would recommend to anyone. He did surgery on my elbow a few years back and now he is giving me injections for my foot. I think God for him.

A recent at home accident caused me to have surgery on my knee twice by Dr. Desai and on of his partners. I have never met kinder more knowledgeable men. I received excellent care and would highly recommend him for your orthopedic needs.

I was referred to this doctor by my friend who underwent surgery by this doctor. He had an excellent bedside manner, spent time with me and explained my condition. He told me I don't need surgery . My pain is gone after injection and physical therapy. I have already referred many of my friends and relatives to this doctor .

Very little time spent with me and seemed anxious to schedule surgery and get out . Waited forever and not told why. Staff inattentive and rude. I went elsewhere.

Awesome doctor. Excellent results with my hip replacement. I would recommend this doctor to anyone.

I can not tell how grateful I am to this doctor. I was suffering from back pain for last one year. He accurately diagnosed my problem, did surgery to fix my back and cured my pain. God bless him.

Thought I would try the new guy. Barely spent 5 minutes with me and never really examined my knee, seemed to be intent on recommending a surgery. I scheduled a second opinion elsewhere.

This dr. replaced my hip. I kept calling that I was having pain after months of surgery. He kept giving me muscle relaxers and then finally someone in the office told me he did not want to see me for a year. I went to see him 14 months after surgery--still having pain and issues--he said that I was still healing. The muscle all around the incision has hardened and I have difficulty walking. I have had a second and third opinion--need to have the surgery re-done. Over two years of pain--it all started when the inner stitches started popping out shortly after surgery and have continued. If he had been truthful from the start--may have prevented a lot of pain.

I can not express how disappointed I was with the staff here, After reading reviews I expected to go into a friendly place and be taken care of. Dr. Desai is very nice and seems to know exactly what he's doing. I can not say the same for his office staff. They were rude and disrespectful. I tried multiple times to call and make appointments and the line was always busy. They scheduled and MRI without my knowledge and I missed the appointment. I would also like to say the 2-3 times that I went to the office the wait was always over 40 minutes. When you walk in the staff is having their own conversations and are down right rude. Dr. Desai is a great dr. but beware of his staff.

Caring and courteous doctor. Did surgery on my mother. Had excellent results. I would definately recommend to anyone.

Overall, I felt very little empathy for my condition from this physician. He seems more into the overall number in his waiting room than he is to his individual patient and their needs. Personally, I would not recommend this physician to anyone.
