Dr. Raul Albert Cortes, MD

There's a lot of Doctors out there but this Doctor has true compassion for his patients. He's very thorough and takes the time to listen and understand the patient. He has performed several surgeries on me, one on my face both hands and elbows. If you are looking for a plastic surgeon / hand doctor then look no further. I can't say enough about him. I was having pain in my hands and via my pain management center (Hudson Spine and Pain Medicine) was recommended to Dr. Raul Cortes. I researched his bio and made a consult. The consult was unrushed and informative. After a thorough examination, Dr. Cortes provided me with a number of options. I decided on reconstructive surgery (Trapeziectomy). Now 6 weeks along, I have excellent movement, and no pain. I am in physical therapy and prognosis is 100% recovery. Dr. Cortes is a skilled surgeon and I highly recommend a consult to see whether you are a candidate for this procedure. I am very happy to have had Dr. Cortes perform the surgery. ZERO regrets. Professional, and helpful. I was self conscious about visiting a plastic surgeon but DR. Cortes put me at ease with my concerns and made me feel part of his family/staff. He directed gave me all my options, but definitely helped me find what would work best for me. I never felt pressured and Raul definitely had my best interests at heart. I would highly recommend!
