Dr. Walker gave me Covid, and I eventually contaminated my entire family. If she has Covid, she shouldn't be seeing patients. It's dreadful.

Bad cataract outcome.

After my cataract surgery was not satisfactory, Dr Walker turned on me and said it was my fault. I felt so embarrassed by her temperament. I left the office and went to a different surgeon to have the other eye done, only to find out that Dr Walker had placed the wrong lens in my eye.

Horrible experience with a very rude doctor

I had a very similar experience with this doctor. There are better alternatives out there.

I wish that I never went to her. I found her to be arrogant and disrespectful. She walked out of the room while I was still speaking to her. And she made a comment to me that was totally inappropriate. A doctor needs to compassionate and understanding of the patient's apprehension and concern.

Dr.Walker and her staff made me feel so comfortable with my surgery and the whole procedure. She is very caring. I only have one good eye to see with. I never questioned her ability to do the surgery. The result from the surgery is 20/20 vision. I would give her 10 stars of I could. If you need Eye care, she is the one to see. Very thorough.

Dr. Walkers staff got me in same day very quickly for an emergency that I was having with my eye. It was my first time using her and I don't think that I will ever use anyone else again! Dr. Walker was very caring while in the room with me and explained everything I needed to know about the problem I was having. I was a bit nervous and concerned with my eye but Dr. Walker made me feel much better about the situation by answering all my questions and being very gentle with me. I look forward to using her in the future and have recommended her to a few of my family and friends.

Having been a patient of Dr. Walker for 15 years for the usual refraction and adjustments of my eye glasses, I always found her to be conscientious and concerned for my well being and highly professional. Recently she was my physician of choice for cataract surgery. I was amazed at the level of care I received at the Fort Washington surgery center. Dr. Walker checked on me before surgery and queried me on how relaxed and comfortable I was feeling prior to the procedure. A nurse anesthestist and a registered nurse were with me at all times. Dr. Walker had me in and out of the O.R. within a half hour. She called me by phone that evening, saw me the next day to observe my progress and again a week later. I have been seeing Dr. Rebecca Walker for the past 4 years for glaucoma. She is an extremely knowledge eye doctor who conducts herself very professionally. She takes her time with patients, explaining the process of what tests she is performing and the outcome of those tests. The office staff is truly remarkable as well. When walking into the office you get the sense of a super friendly staff who is there is help and support. They are very knowledgeable as well of the different tests and they all work together to achieve what is best for the patient. I would highly recommend Eye Associates!

Back in Aug/Dec 2017, Dr. Walker performed cataract removal/lens implant procedures on my right and left eyes – I am extremely pleased with the outcome of both procedures, and am equally impressed with Dr. Walker’s expertise, professionalism and caring attitude. My case was quite rare and complex (I was losing vison on my right eye from a fast-progressing cataract). Dr. Walker was able to successfully perform cataract removal/lens implant using a special technique, resulting in the restoration of my vison to 100%, and without complication. Dr. Walker’s professionalism and caring attitude is commendable – she took time to explain my ophthalmic condition and planned treatment and patiently answered my questions. While waiting in the pre-op area on my surgery day, Dr. Walker came in to check on me and made sure that I was comfortable. After my surgery, Dr. Walker personally called me at home (in the evening hours) to check how I was feeling and checked if I had any concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Walker (Eye Associates). Staff are well-trained, knowledgeable and pleasant!

I was recently diagnosed with diabetes and was referred to dr walker for a diabetic eye exam. She was so thorough and explained what can happen to your eyes when you are a diabetic.. thanks for the excellent care

I see Dr. Walker when I am in Pennsylvania visiting my family, I think she is the best. She did a laser on me for narrow angles and I didn’t have any problems at all. I had to have the laser done on my other eye when I was back in North Carolina and it was so painful. I always look forward to seeing her when I am in town.

My parents have had both cataract surgery and laser surgery with Dr. Walker and the care she provided my elderly parents was exceptional. My mom actually referred many of her neighbors and friends to her and didn’t think twice about it... thank you for the excellent care

I have been a patient of Dr. Walker for years and she is an extremely competent and caring physician who has always appropriately answered all my questions. I would highly recommend her to my friends and family.

I guess I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it myself the discourteous way whereupon my mother was dealt with. She continued to gripe about the irritation from her glaucoma drops prescribed by Dr Walker to no avail. On the latest visit, she was completely dismissed and told she needed cataract surgery. Dr Walker could learn from her staff who are pleasant. We went to an area ophthalmologist, who told us mother does not have glaucoma and halted all drops. What's more, she doesn't need cataract surgery.

I was referred to Dr Walker by my eye doctor for laser iridotomy. Reading some of the reviews did not help me with my apprehension with the treatment. But I went ahead with the procedure for both eyes. Now I have no clue as to where these negative comments originate. I found not a single negative comment to be applicable. She answered my questions and provided excellent medical care. I know I am not the perfect patient. I don’t even do well with eye drops! If I could give Dr. Walker and her staff 6 stars, I would!

I get it that you have to wait, I get a doctor can have an ego, but I won't tolerate a doctor belittling me and not being honest. I am glad I went elsewhere for my cataract options.
