Dr. Regina Onie Hillsman, MD

Her staff is clueless, the older lady who is her assistant is clueless. There is a broken communication with the doctor and staff. The older lady is very rude and butchers name and your personal information. Very lazy and not helpful at all. It was horrible. ;( never again.

Horrible bedside manner. She lacks basic tenets of medicine,which include empathy and treating the patient as more than a disease. She doesn't understand basic common sense, has questionable practicing, doesn't listen and feels entitled. Terrible experience. Avoid at all costs.

A previous reviewer had mentioned that Dr. Hillsman had helped them greatly after receiving a more exam from an IME. Sadly, Dr. HIllsman has become that IME - spending an average of 10 minutes with you and spending more time asking how you were injured and your race, instead of checking where you are in pain or at what time you experience pain. Lastly, she has not kept on top of the advancements in medicine and practices very old methods...find someone younger and more importantly more credible and you have a better chance at recovery .

Dr. Hillsman has to be the most poorly trained doctor I have ever seen in my lifetime. Not only does she rush patients in and out like cattle and speaks a mile a minute to do so, but also knows nothing about diagnosing any joint injuries. Do NOT go to her...you will end up worse than where you started. She is one of those doctors that is really only in it for a money. It felt like I was scammed while I was there. She did not perform a proper examination. Check out other doctors in the area who actually have good reviews and know what they are doing. Even her small talk was derogatory.

The staff is very caring and will go out their way to help you!Dr. Hillsman is a very caring doctor and will do her best to help you.Sometimes you will have to wait a while in the waiting room but it is worth the wait.All in all, I appreciate everyone at the office and thank all of them.

She has caused more unesasary treatments and surgeries on me. The outcome caused me more pain than I had before I went to see her. Don't go anywhere near her. After I had my surgery so many people told me horror storries about her treatments. She is money hungry and can care less about my pain. I needed to go to a major surgeon to correct her surgery. It was not the first case he had heard about. Some one should shut her down.

I had gone to her a few times and know several people who have. She does unnecessary xrays, always wants to order MRIs that re not needed. she is money hungry and will have you come back every week just to bill your insurance. you will walk out of there with at least 3 prescitions that arent even needed. The wait time is ridiculous too. You wait an hour in the waiting room, then again in the exam room. Teo hours of waiting just to be seen for 5 minutes is ridiculous!!

Upon receiving a second opinion I learned that the treatment that Dr. Hillsman recommended was unnecessary. She should be avoided at all costs!

Dr. Hillsman is very knowledgeable. She takes her profession seriously, and always keeps me well informed about what is going on with all the procedures that are involved. I feel very comfortable with her, and I know any questions I may have will be answered.

While under the treatment of Dr. Regina O. Hillsman, I feel I have received the very best of care. I had a problem with my knee and my employer sent me to an independent medical examiner who completely overlooked the cause of my knee problem. Under the professional care of Dr. Hillsman this problem was spotted, surgery that was needed was performed and I am on the was to recovery. Had it not been for Dr. Hillsman's diligence in the finding of my knee problem, I would have had to continue working in pain, as I had to do because of incorrect diagnosis. There need to be more doctors as dedicated as Dr. Hillsman,

Over the course of nearly two years and many visits, I am always greeted by a delightful staff and welcoming office atmosphere. Dr. Hillsman has continued to impress me with her professionalism and skill in her area of practice. I have searched long and hard to find the qualities that Dr. Hillsman exhibits. She has diagnosed my issues and has tended to them in various positive ways. I have referred family member to her and would urge anyone else to visit Dr. Hillsman if you are seeking the utmost treatment from a highly skilled physician.

It took me 3 years of suffering with other doctors before a friend referred me to Dr. Hillsman. She was the first doctor to take me seriously and move to action. I had previous doctors ignoring my shoulder problem and focusing only on my neck. Pain management gave me numerous injections in my neck with a disregard to my shoulder or progress. The day after my shoulder surgery, I already felt better. She has always answered my questions in a way I could understand. She gave me handouts and exercises related to all my questions. Thank God I found her. I will continue to see her and refer anyone and everyone to her.

Dr. Hillsman is a brilliant surgeon who really cares about her patients. When I had surgery on my knee, she called me at home to check and see how I was doing. She explains all procedures and will even take the time to show you your x-rays and explain what it means. She is an awesome person and doctor.

DR HILLSMAN WAS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL IN MY CARE. SHE THOUROUGHLY EXPLAINED TO ME MY SURGERY AND FOLLOW UP CARE SO THERE WERE NO SURPRISES. sHE WAS VERY ATTENTIVE TO MY FEARS AND CONCERNS. HER STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL IN ASSURING MY COVERAGE WAS COMPLETED AS TO NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY.

Dr. Hillsman is a highly educated and knowledgeable surgeon. I couldn't have asked for anyone better and more attentive during my treatment and surgery with her. Even when I called frequently on the weekend following my surgery, she was more than willing to speak to me regarding any questions I had. I would highly and most certainly recommend her to any one else needed Orthopedic assistance of any kind!

Billing for dr hillsman is extremely poor. More than once did not bill to insurance company hence i was asked to pay in full. They are not there during the day who ever heard of a staff that comes on at 6pm...they cant call insurance company to see if there's a problem....Long waits to see doc...45min plus...waiting area always has the lights off (saving electricity? please)

Dr. Hillsman is a wonderful, knowledgeable Doctor, who really cares for her patients as you can see by the number of patients she has. Dr. Hillsman's will work with her patients and make sure they are well informed about any issues. She has shown me my x-ray results on the light, and have explained my MRI and lab results to me. She does everything to accomodate her patients by playing educational videos, providing snacks, water, coffee, juice and even tea. Her staff frequently ask, "do you need anything," or "can I get you anything."
