Dr. Rekha Nugaram, MD

She has helped me more than any other Dr. I have seen in Va. I wish I could take her with me.

The doctor is very nice but the people who answer the phones are just plain rude. Not helpful at all and very curt. Can't wait for my next appointment so I can let the good doctor know.

I WAS a patient of Dr Nugaram and find her very unpleasant when I have a appointment she is always running late, one day i took off work for a appointment showed up at the office there was a note on the door saying they closed early. NO ONE CALLED ME to let me know day off wasted!!! She has terrible bed side manner. I would suggest NOT booking a appointment here, office is rude and Im looking for another DR will not go back here!! DONT GOOOOOO!!!!!

I called one time spoke to nurse I was very upset said I felt so bad was tired of it didn't want to be here anymore She said Dr would call me back, NO ONE called me back!!!

Had three appointments with her. The first was to talk about the nodules on my thyroid. She wasn't very helpful in answering any of my questions. I told her I choke in my sleep. Her response was I shouldn't be doing that. Next appointment was for a needle biopsy. I cried the entire time BC she did not numb me well enough. She kept going go forward with the biopsy with no empathy whatsoever. Third was the follow up the the biopsy. Golf ball size nodules on my thyroid and crystalized sacs. I ask what happens now? I want to stop choking in my sleep. She tells me I'm" too fat" to have surgery that I have to lose weight and then we can discuss.

have been waiting 5 days for a followup phone call from this dr. guess I will see her in the er.

Here communication could be better and understand that not all of her patients have alot of money to purchase high priced medication. She should understand that generic is good also.

She's a good doctor and was able to diagnos my problem, since no other doctor had. However, the wait is so incredibly long. They seem to book appointments all around the same time and there is only one doctor there. They also make you wait months before you can schedule an appointment.
