Great office and great staff

Had a great experience. Dr Avena is a great doctor and he has a wonderful staff. The surgery center staff was great very nice girls at the front desk the lady at the desk even offered me coffee while I waited for my wife. The nurseing staff was great. They gave my wife great care.

Surgery staff was great.

After my Mom's surgery, the doctor just left the hospital without telling me how surgery went. She was high risk and surgery had to be done in the hospital. I felt that the dr should have at least popped his head in and said it went well. On her follow up visit, someone named Ileana took off my moms bandage. Still not sure what the woman's title is. She fired off some instructions verbally and walked out.My mom has dementia and is hard of hearing. She didn't have a clue what Ileana said. They were going to send in someone to rebandage the wound, but after 45 minutes, I found out everyone had gone to lunch!! Totally forgot we were in the exam room. I don't think I could recommend this doctor, or this office.

Very difficult getting through to staff via phone - put on hold for a long time and then get voice mail. Some of staff very discourteous, flippant and unprofessional, and others gave wrong information about what was needed prior to surgery. Didn't call to state behind in doctor's surgeries and that had 6 patients ahead of you when you had been given your surgery time. I was told that a 4-5 hour wait beyond your surgery time is typical. I would not go back or refer anyone because of the above.
