The most horrible experience ever from a surgeon, especially one maintaining your face. He injected multiple places with tiny spats of blood oozing (while standing), no aftercare, no instructions and my face had nodules with varying black, blues and green marks for weeks. Would not recommend him, sloppy & careless!!

After getting the news that I had early stage breast cancer and that I would need a mastectomy, my world felt like it was caving in. Dr. Claytor was amazing. He took the time to reassure my husband and I that we were going to get through this. Dr. Claytor did a fantastic job with my reconstruction. His attention to detail in everything from the O.R. to a follow up appointment was spot on. I don’t wish this on anyone, but if you ever find yourself with this horrible diagnosis, I would definitely recommend Dr. Claytor.

Dr Claytor is a nice guy. He is willing to answer questions. But I did not find him as knowledgeable as other physicians I met with and I did not have confidence that he could handle difficult situations. The office staff members are not very gracious.

I went to Claytor to have some large pores removed from my chin. I don't remember the exact name of the treatment and instrument he used. He got right to work on my chin, never studying it carefully. He just said, Oh yes. We can do that. He did not give me any instructions when I left the office nor a suggestion of what I might use to ease the discomfort a little. I had to stop on my way home to get a can of cold soda just to hold against my chin. I returned to the office three weeks later. He said my chin was healed. At that time I was not satisfied with the appearance of it but was told that the little bit of swelling would reduce. Months later, after growiing increasingly unhappy with how I looked, I visited one other doctor and two aesteticians for an opinion. Each one of them said the work was sloppy and could have been done much better. I returned to Claytor's office thinking that he might be willing to improve on his work. My fault, I waited too long, more than a year, and he would not even take a close look at my face. Again, he never looked at my chin to see why I was dissatisfied, never showed any concern for me as his patient. He was apathetic to the point of almost being blase. He suggested that I use the aesthertician in his office, which of course I had no intention of doing. By the time I get my chin back to looking presentable, I will have spent over $3,000. Needless to say, I would never recommend Claytor for anything.

I had a procedure done with Dr. Claytor and words are not enough to express my gratitude. I not only appreciate Dr. Claytor taking the time out to ensure my previous health issues were discussed he also gives detailed consultations, ensures you are ready and comfortable for your upcoming surgery and supports you during your recovery. I am at the end of my healing phase and this is one of the best decisions I have made for my life. Loving my end results and so grateful for Dr. Claytor and his staff. He goes above and beyond the normal call of duty.

Dr. Claytor performed a breat reduction on my 16 year old daughter. I cannot believe the results. We originally were going to try for Liposuction until we met with Dr. Claytor. He explained the cutting procedure and she absolutely loved his kindness,patients and his bedside manner. His ability to perform a straight line is amazing, her scaring is minimal and nearly perfect . I would reccomend Dr. Claytor to anyone who is thinking of having plastic surgery. I cannot say enough about Dr. Claytor and his team - from the front of the house to the back. Here are my top reasons for highly recommending Dr. Claytor: 5) VALUES MY TIME - I have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room. More often than not - I go in early. 4)INCREDIBLE PATIENCE AND BEDSIDE MANNER â?? Dr. Claytor has the most amazing ability to make you think that you are his only patient. Not sure how he can get patients in on time when he is so patient during each appointment. 3) GREAT TEAM - not only does Dr. Claytor make you think you are the only one but his team does as well 2) CONVENIENCE - except for the mastectomy that was done outpatient at a hospital, all treatments inc. the surgical procedure to remove/ replace the expanders was all done at Dr. Claytor's facility 1) MOST IMPORTANTLY SKILL - at the end of the day you hope that it all turns out well. After 18 years I decided to reconstruct as well as do a prophylactic mastectomy/ reconstruct the other breast - Dr. Claytor had to deal with old scars, etc - INCREDIBLE results . Just beautiful! Wouldn't change a thing!!!!

I recently had a breast reduction and am so happy with the results. Dr. Claytor has an amazing bedside manner and is so caring and compassionate. I found that he explained everything in terms that I could understand vs. text book medical speak. He was great with the follow up and was very responsive to any questions I had. I am impressed with his work and am so happy I selected him. I recently went for a bra fitting and the owner of the store commented on how great my scars look compared to others she had seen. Dr. Claytor does amazing work!

I saw Dr. Claytor with respect to a basel cell skin cancer. A Mohs dermatologist removed the cancer and Dr. Claytor performed reconstructive surgery to close the wound. The Mohs surgeon removed a significant portion of my nose all the way down to cartilage. I had never had reconstructive surgery before and was very concerned that I would not look â??normalâ?? after the procedure. I was also somewhat terrified about the reconstructive surgery as I had to have a skin graft with skin taken from behind my ear. Dr. Claytor and his surgical team were fabulous. They were sensitive to my worries, kind, caring and made me feel as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. My follow-up care was equally wonderful. I felt my every need was anticipated and answered with professionalism and concern for my experience. Itâ??s now been over four months since the surgery. My nose looks great and I would recommend Dr. Claytor to anyone and everyone undergoing reconstructive surgery of this nature.

Dr. Claytor removed two squemous cells from the facial area - the whole experience from start to finish was handeled professionaly. He put me at ease during the surgery and the results were nothing short of amazing. I rate him as the very best - I highly recommend him if one has to have plastic surgery.

Dr. Claytor is a very fine plastic surgeon that fixed my hideously cut up hand. He was so understanding pre-surgery and post-surgery and able to allay my concerns, and answer my every question, in whatever length of time it took. I felt like I was very lucky to have him do the surgery and feel totally safe in his hands. And we will complete this accident together with a terrific outcome and a very normal looking right hand!

Of all places for one of these things to show up, right on the top of my lower eyelid. I had read about MOHS surgery and was happy with the odds, as I teach Biostatistics at UNH. My only worry was what I'd look like afterwards. In less than 5 minutes after Dr Claytor met me, I knew I had found the right guy. He exudes knowledge and confidence of his craft. He made sure I understood the procedure and what it involved, including the reconstruction of my lower eyelid. It's been 2 months and friends and colleagues find it hard to believe I had anything done. When I look in the mirror, I too find it hard to realize that I lost a third of my lower eyelid. Dr. Claytor was brought into my situation as an a very urgent need to help my ongoing situation. I had infeected mesh froma hernia repair and had a large portion of my stomach area removed that was healing from the inside out. The final healing was being slowed from skin panis from previously loosing weight and gravity pulling. Dr Claytor agreed to do the surgery out of medical neccissity even though I wasn't fully healed from the first surgery. He was very informative and up front with all information of the procedure and risks. He kept my parents and fiancee informed as well. After surgery while he was on vacation the following week he cared enough about me because of the high risk I was with the having 2 major surgeries that he called to check on me from his own personal vacation time. Dr Claytor really listens and puts you at ease in pre-op. You know he cares and his manner assures you that he is good...and he is. I had ruptured breast implants and he replaced them and they are fabulous. I also got a tummy tuck anf 3 months later I feel like a new person...at 65! I was not nervous because I knew he was the best...and he was!

Professional staff, highly competent MD who explains the problem and treatment options. Superb bedside manner--puts one at ease.
