Dr. Richard Paul Driessnack, MD

I've had 2 hip replacements, one on each side. Dr. Driesnack gave me my life back. No problems at all! He sees residents at our nursing facility and does awesome work. If anyone has a chance to choose him as a orthopedic doctor, he is the best choice! I have friends who have had nothing but the best from Dr. Driesnack. He is awesome! He has a very caring bedside manner as well!

He said previous doc knew what he was doing. I went there to get a second opinion about surgery as I was a bit scared about it. Then.... He asked me if my childs death 26 yrs ago caused my bipolar disorder! Not much compassion, what did it have to do with my knee?? Did not spend much time with my knee problem just suggested treatment I had already had. I know so many recommend, but he seemed to have problem with me since I was getting a second opinion.

When I first met with Dr. Driessnack we discussed what was important to me in life following the Total Hip Replacement. One of the things I wanted was to return to the volunteer fire service I'd been in for 27 years. He asked me how many firemen I knew with a replacement hip? We had the surgery, followed up with therapy, which he recommended based on how anxious I was at the 2 week appointment, and then continued with the recommendations, exercise, and precautions. Well it's been six months since the surgery, and I just passed the fire department physical, so I now know one volunteer fireman with a total hip replacement, me. Thanks Doc.
