He is a very nice dr. I recommend him. If you have questions or concerns he will answer them. Takes his time and good bedside manners.

Dr. Ford is a good doctor. I went to him because my regular doctor referred me over to him. Dr. Ford is very careful...He didn't just jump in and do surgery on me because I had something going on, even though he could have. Dr. Ford has a good personality for a doctor. He makes you feel comfortable. The Staff in the whole office is really good!

Dr. Ford is a very "down to earth" type doctor. Very easy to talk to, very patient and makes you feel as though you are extremely important. Listens to my every word and did all things necessary to help me with my problems. I would not go anywhere else.

Dr. Ford was the oncall doctor when I went into labor with my son. I met him for the first time when he popped in my room and introduced himself to me. He then did the rest of my "care" by phone and I didn't see him again for 22 hours and I was pushing. My son was not in the correct position for birthing and several things were orderd that are contraindicated for the position he was in. My son ended up getting severly injured, spent several days in the NICU, and has had four surgeries to reconstruct damages and will have more in the future.

I starting going to Dr. Ford in 2004 when I got pregnant with my son the waiting room times were a bit long but Dr. Ford was worth the wait. I got pregnant again back in the fall of 2010 and I lost the baby in my 2nd trimester, Dr.Ford was nothing but caring and understanding of my feelings and my husbands. When I had any concerns he got me in right away with very little wait. The way I look at it I'm willing to wait on a Doctor that puts high priorities 1st than a Doctor that just goes by a list 1st come 1st served, because really you don't know if you will be a 1st priority or not. My healing process was a fast recovery the 1st week but I did start to hurt more the 3rd wk and Dr. Ford was there for me to explain what happened and what I needed to do. So with all my heart I appreciate Dr. Ford, Traci and all his staff for being the kind and caring people they are.

I work in the emergency room at King's Daughters Medical Center where Dr Richard Ford practices. I can honestly say I can't imagine ever going to anyone else for my OB/GYN care. I started going to Dr Ford when I became pregnant in Feb 2000. He wasn't accepting new patients at that time according to his office manager but after speaking to him in the hospital he gladly accepted me and I am so grateful that he did. He made my pregnancy and birthing experience a wonderful one. He made me not only feel comfortable with his knowledge and abilities but also made me feel like an old friend. A visit to your Gynecologist shouldn't be tense and nerve racking, something you dread each year. I had seen other Gynos before Dr Ford and having to go to them was worse than having to go to the dentist in my opinion. When I have an appt with Dr Ford (Richard to all of his pts) I look forward to seeing him. Your guaranteed a good laugh or two and he really wants to know how your feeling as a woman. Richard sits and talks with his patients for several minutes before any type of exam is even prepped for. He truly cares about what is going on in your life. In this ER nurses opinion Richard Ford is to KDMC Women's Health what Richard Paulus is to Cardiology.

I have been doctoring with Dr. Ford for 7 years now. I cannot imagine ever going to another OB. I have the most confidence in this man and most respect for him. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
