over two years never seen by the doctor always the PA. contracted COVID and hospitalized...never a visit or even a follow up call

I have been a Patient For 4 years . I have stage 4 cancer have ptsd I ha s been taking a certain medicine for 20 years and was told by several hospitals that if i Suddenly stop taking this medication I could have either a heart attack or a seizure I explain this to Dr Hayes and he could care less the office never called me back I have my pain care management doctors office called me back and tell me that Dr Hayes will no longer a refill any of my prescriptions without any getting an answer back from Dr Hayes’s office who won’t pick up the phone I have all intentions are referring them to the medical board

At my recent visit I was seen by a new physician whom I had never met. He didn't introduce himself, just started talking. I had to ask his name! It was apparent from his questions that he had done, at most, a very superficial review of my records. I asked several questions and got partial and some inaccurate information. This was not a comprehensive physical by any stretch of the imagination, very poor!!!!

I absolutely hate this doctor's office they will not even refill my prescriptions I've been in in the last 6 months to keep wanting me to go back in they got me addicted to anti-anxiety medication that I should have been taking for so long and now they won't give me any more until I come back in I hate this place really poor

We have been patients Of Dr Hays for 16 years, we moved out of Florida 21/2 years ago, we travel once A year to get our year Lyna check up, I have post polio and he has gave me back my life to be some what normal, I have had 36 surgeries , and have been seen by a large amount of Doctors, and Dr Hays is one of my Best Doctors by far, his bed side matter is so warm and understanding, I would travel as far as I can to be taken care of from Him ! 13 hours of driving to be taken care of from him is not even A thought. His staff are very caring and Attentive.

So I was at work and I had trouble breathing because of my asthma and allergies, so I grabbed my inhaler and unbeknownst to me it was done. I called my pharmacy and was told that they could have it ready in an hour but my prescription was just expired and said they are going to reach out to my doctor because of the emergency. I got a call back saying my Doctor denied the refill, I called the doctors office immediately asking why was I denied my inhaler which I’ve used for the last 20 years. I was told that I was in bad standing with my doctor cause I haven’t seen him in a year, I was also told I was irresponsible for not going to see him in a year. I pleaded and begged for the refill because I was barley breathing and if I didn’t get my inhaler I would have to go to the emergency room. They could care less of my condition and my health and rudely denied me a medication that I’ve been taking for 20 years!!!!! Long story short, I ended up getting someone from my office to take me to the emergency room barely being able to breather and getting my inhaler. Dr Richard Hayes is a disgrace to the medical profession and should have his license revoked. He could care less about someone’s health and well being which is the most important part about being a health care professional. When making this review it was no surprise what the rating was, I also read some of the disgraceful experiences people have had and also the positive 5 star reviews that were so generic and plastic just like the robot response they have when putting a 5 star review. This entire practice is a prime example of a bottom of the barrel healthcare and just there to profit. My advice to anyone is keep away and go to one of the many other great doctors in the area.

Horrible office to deal with. I once had to actually go in, while sick, to ask for a paper prescription to take to CVS myself. They never called it in at my visit 3 days earlier. Found a new GP whose staff actually answers the phone and knows what they are doing. Dr. Hays...I know you are aware of what is going on, as I told you myself, you just don't care. You should read the 70 reviews on Healthgrade. Same old problem, over and over.

They don't answer the phone and often don't return calls. You will never see a Dr. only an assistant. They ask you to arrive early but make you wait at least an hour.

The medical staff is great. but the front office is so horrible that they drop the whole practice down to one star. I have called at least 50 times in the last year and gotten through once. This is simply inexcusable and totally unprofessional. Dr Hayes, WAKE UP!!

Since Dr. Brown left, I will too.

Very nice staff always get an appointment fast.Only down side is you must leave a message they never answer phone ,but always call back quickly.

You can never get anyone to answer the phone, no matter when you call. give you the option to leave a VM, and never get a call back. I understand practices can be busy and it can take some time to get help, but I have never once been able to get them on the phone without waiting hours! ive been a patient since I turned 18, and am looking for care elsewhere as I need a Dr who is available at some point and time. Today specifically I have called 5 times and sat on hold so long that their system ended the call and never once did anyone answer. Drs and PA's are great, but the management of this office is unacceptable. it shouldn't take this long to get assistance.

Dr. Hays' office is run in my opinion like a factory. Calling his office results in long wait times only to be sent to a voicemail. Those voice mails are many times, not returned. I had appointments with 3 specialists last week. None of the referrals were at the specialist office in time for my appointments. I called Hays after the 2nd referral was not sent. His staff said they were "short staffed" that the HMO was holding up the referrals despite never having sent requests to the HMO for 2 of the referrals, that the referral person was on vacation for 2 weeks, that they were backlogged, etc.... I finally spoke with Hays and he said he would immediately take care of the problems. But two days later, at my 3rd appointment, again no referral or chart info was sent as requested. I wrote this Bozo a letter and put him on notice of his dangerous practice and its potential harm and informed him I was going to report him to the HMO, review him on Social Media, etc. He was more concerned about my reporting him than resolving the problems. Wow!

The staff is very rude and lazy. Dr Hays is wonderful, but because of his staff, I would never recommend him.

I have seen Dr. Hays for over 20 years and just recently switched to a different PCP. Dr. Hays is a wonderful person and a great doctor. Unfortunately, I have not actually been able to see him in a long while - I end up having to see a PA or the RNP. I don't go to the doctor very often anymore, but when I go, I'd very much like to see my doctor. His staff does not return phone calls. I have given up on the prescription refill voicemail system - they simply do not respond. My pharmacy has had issues as well. It is unsettling to be unsure about whether one's prescriptions will be sent correctly and on time.

It really is a shame that Dr. Hays has the incompetent staff that he has. He's a wonderful person and doctor but his staff is horrible. Need a call back? Good luck with that. You're lucky if you're able to get through their phone service and get a live person on the phone. There's no point to leave a message on any voice mail because no one calls you back. Staff is completely non apologetic when their inability to provide proper service is pointed out. Again, he's a wonderful doctor but he needs to start from ground zero with his entire staff.

FRONT DESK STAFF IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND NON-COMPASSIONATE LIKE THEY ARE ANGRY THEY WORK THERE.

although it is a very busy practice, the staff and poviders make it worth the visit. The office is nice and clean the staff is freindly and the providers are efficient... i recommend this office 100%%%%
