went to have image of lower lumbar after months of pain, never saw Dr. Manos only his NP. Felt rushed and no explanation from Dr. as to why I was not a candidate for intervention. Came highly referred. Disappointment for me.

I fell down a flight of stairs, and I’ve been having neck pain and he says it’s not related, came in set down crossed his arms and his legs in proceeded to tell me it was not related, when I fell I dislocated my shoulder, torn my rotator cuff, and fractured my humorous.He was more concerned about his reputation then my care

i have gone to both of Dr. Manos offices, in Meridian and Caldwell. The Meridian office staff was great. But the Caldwell staff was not. The instructions i was given were not clear at all. The staff in Caldwell were very rude and uncaring. i liked Dr. Manos well enough but if you have no confidence in the staff , it made me wonder how well I would be treated during surgery and recovery.

This is one of the best orthopedist ever. Ip have worked with many and think highly of Dr. Manos. He is very caring, friendly, funny and has a great bedside manner. Wonderful surgeon and person.

Doctors hate it when patients don't show for appointments and will often bill them for missed appointments. I scheduled my appointment nearly 2 months out and showed up at the date and time for my appointment. I sat around for nearly 2 hours before his PA came in to tell me Dr. Manos was not in the office, he was called out for an emergency. I think that is fine, but to stack patients in various waiting rooms and having his PA come in for him is not right. I should have been told this when I checked in. I also find his staff less than user friendly, I needed a MRI and when I tried to find out how to get this done his billing person was really quite rude on the phone. Now I am rescheduled for another appointment over 1.5 months after my original appointment. And will no doubt be billed for yet another appointment v. having my first fee applied to this new appt. date. I really don't like giving the good doctor this rating but he has got to get his staff with better patient skills.

Doctor Manos recently performed my husband's microdiskectomy. My husband had been experiencing extreme sciatic nerve pain caused by a ruptured disc, and for several weeks he had been unable to walk (even with pain medication). A few hours after the surgery, there was no pain in my husband's leg, he was walking normally, and the only pain he was experiencing was a dull pain in his lower back. My husband and I highly recommend Dr. Manos. He has a wonderful bedside manner, he took his time talking to us, and he is an extremely skilled surgeon. Thanks to Doctor Manos, my husband is healing beautifully, and we should soon be able to enjoy the outdoor activities that we so much enjoy!

I am still currently seeing Dr Manos, I am getting ready to have my 2nd surgery. So far so good, they have done a lot of changes in the office THANK GOD to make it a better experience , keep up the good work.

Dr. Manos is a good doctor, if you ever get to see him. His staff is rude, extremely unhelpful and they never return phone calls.

His attitude is horrible and he is very rude. Never go to him!

Dr. Manos is the very best when it comes to back surgery and neck surgery. This DOCTOR takes the time to know you understand and gives you all your options. For yrs I went thru unnecessary pain being bounced from doctor to doctor. Dr's and Er always made you feel unworthy to be there or u were just a pain pill seeker. Dr Manos never at any time made me feel like this. He told me my symptoms and assured me he could help me. Help me he did and after a back surgery and neck surgery I feel human again. It takes a while to get into your appointment after arriving, but keep in mind the time he is spending with the patients before you he will with you as well. He will not leave you with any questions unanswered. He expects you to fulfill your part of your recovery as he has told you. NO EXCEPTIONS OR EXCUSES. I would recommend him 100% matter of fact he will be doing back and neck surgery soon on my husband. Might I add Dr. Manos has the most amazing professional hugs a doctor could ever provide. Letting you know his care comes truly from his heart!!! Thank you Dr. Manos u r the bestest ever!!!

I needed a back fusion - something you never want to hear, right? Will have to live with tons of restrictions the rest of your life.....not so! Dr. Manos used to work on Navy Seals and do back fusions on them, no restrictions for them, none for me. He's a great surgeon, explains all the options, lets you pick which one works best for you. Has great bedside manner; never makes you feel rushed in asking questions....all around great doctor. Would recommend him to anyone with back problems.

To the comment below stating 'horrible', shame on you for stating such a lie. I have seen multiple physicians and finally found Dr. Manos who is an excellent surgeon, has great bed side manner, and is super caring for his patients. He goes out of his way to see his hospital patients even on the weekends.

This doctor really cares about you. He looks you in the eye and talks to you. He also knows what he is doing. Best doc I'v ever had.....thanks....

Dr. Manos is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. I had spinal surgery in 2008 and he did an outstanding job in explaining the procedure and what was to happen before and after surgery. I would recommmend him to anyone.

Getting an appointment can be difficult, but it's worth the effort. Dr. Manos thoroughly explains procedures, has a positive attitude and great bedside manner. Highly recommend him.
