There are too few doctors who embody healing and caring as well as Dr. Ruben does. He is a kind and compassionate man who provides excellent medical care to his patients. Dr. Ruben takes the time to deeply listen, as well as provides information related to the visit. He is never rushed. When I have a medical problem he is always there to help and guide me to make the correct decisions regarding my health. His expansive knowledge and excellent bed side manner makes Doctor Richard Ruben a one of a kind doctor based on today's standards. He knows his patients and takes the time to make sure his patients feel completely comfortable with a diagnosis or with instructions on how to take care of their needs once they are at home healing. My resent hysterectomy was the scariest thing I have ever encountered and Doctor Ruben was with me from the beginning to the end making sure I was fine every step of the way. I have been seeing Dr. Ruben for about 14 years now for minor OBGYN visits, to my annual exams, mammograms and ultrasounds and through my pregnancy. He has been able to put my anxiey at ease when there were minor health scares and provides me with information I need to understand my diagnosis. His follow up to my questions and concerns has been spot on.

Dr. Ruben has been wonderful. He has been my OB/GYN for many years and when I was diagnosed with cancer, he sent me to the most incredible team of surgeons and oncologists. And through it all, he took the time to call to see how I was doing and if he could do anything for me while I was going through treatment even though I wasn't under his direct care.

I have be a patient of Dr Ruben for the past 28 years. He has provided both my Obstetrical and Gynecological care. He is extremely knowledgeable and current in his field of practice He has a wonderful rapport with his patients and makes you feel comfortable during the exam or with any procedures that are required. He is an excellent diagnostician and educates the patient about their gynecological health. At every office visit I feel he spends adequate time with me and answers all of my questions thoroughly. Many years ago I had a gynecological problem requiring surgery. Dr. Ruben was compassionate and empathic while providing me with all of the necessary information to make an informed decision regarding my surgery and treatment plan. Dr Ruben is a partner in Physicians for Women. The practice as a whole is terrific. It is easy to get an appointment with Dr Ruben in a timely manner. The staff is extremely courteous and respectful. The office is very efficient and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes before being seen. Although health care is changing, Dr Richard Ruben maintains a caring, compassionate and professional approach with his patients and I have recommended many friends and family to him. On a 6 point scale I would rate him a 10!
