Dr. Scarlett took time to review the issues with my knee and all the possible solutions and outcomes. I was thoroughly pleased with his knowledge and expertise and would highly recommend him.

Dr. Scarlett has the best bedside manners of any physician I have ever seen. He definitely takes the time with you. Doesn't make you feel uncomfortable.

My son is a baseball player who has been having shoulder pain. We went and saw Dr. Scarlett, and was wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable and had a wonderful bedside manner. He explained my son’s condition in a way in which my son could understand, and my son left the appointment feeling optimistic about his recovery. If you are looking for an orthopedist who takes time to listen to his patients, is patient centered, smart, and kind, I highly recommend Dr. Scarlett.

My daughter severely sprained her ankle and Dr. Scarlett took care of her. He was kind, compassionate, and had an excellent bedside manner. She is now back to playing the sport she loves. If you are looking for a highly competent orthopedist who specializes in Sports Medicine, Dr. Scarlett fits the bill.

My husband had a complete hip replacement. Leg was almost an inch longer and the ball joint was placed incorrectly causing him to toe in and suffere sever pain. Dr. Scarlett told us that we should do the other hip to make it even. 1 year later, we had my husbands hip redone by a specialist in NY to correct the first surgery by Dr. Scarlett.

I recently went to Dr Scarlett with excruciating knee pain! He believed I had a torn Meniscus after examining me. The next morning his office called me with an MRI date and scheduled an appt to get the results. He was right and scheduled surgery for the end of that week. He is knowledgable, listens to his patient’s concerns and has a great personality! He knew I was tired of being in pain and moved my treatment plan along quickly. The office staff and assistants and other medical staff are pleasant as well. My wait time was not more than 10 mins after arriving. I highly recommend Dr Scarlett!!

I have seen Dr. Scarlett in New Britain for years. He performed my rotator cuff surgery about 7 years ago and my results have been excellent with scars that are barely noticeable. He has a wonderful demeanor, is collaborative with his patients and I thoroughly trust him with my care. I will need a knee replacement soon and he will be my surgeon for that as well. I highly recommend him.

I visit that place to remove my hematoma but huge inflated bill was the only result. When latter I call office to set up next visit but that time real one to really remove hematoma with my request price at front, they never responded for it. STAY AWAY.

From his bedside manner, to taking the time to explain everything and his skill as a surgeon, you cannot go wrong here. He just did my right knee replacement 2 days ago after doing my left yesterday. Came to see me before my discharge and we had a pleasant 20 minute conversation. He is do passionate about what he does in helping people lead better lives. Thanks to him and his team!

I saw him before for my right knee.It felt like I tore something.He examined it,and told me that I have water on it.Long story short,he was very incompetent.I never back to him.I went to see another doctor at UCONN

For me, expertise and results is what counts. 2 weeks after a full hip replacement I was back at work full time. What added to my experience with this medical professional was that he was attentive, pleasant and paid attention to ME. His staff was awesome, friendly and on time.

Dr. Scarlett and his team were wonderful. I obtained an appointment within a 1 week (but I have to say that I was offered an early appointment but I needed a specific time). I waited in the waiting room for 16 minutes which is nothing compared to other doctors/facilities. Dr. Scarlett took the time to explain his findings and treatment plan without making me feel rushed even thought I knew he was now running approximately running 30 minutes late. The staff was professional and courteous. Highly recommend Dr. Scarlett and his team.

This office never answered their phone as it always went straight to voice mail. Also after leaving voice mails for a return call, I never received a call back. I never got to find out an opinion about Dr. Scarlett. Due to the fact that I never could get through to the offfice (and I had the correct phone number), I had to find another doctor and it held me up by about a month.
