Dr. Richmond Dow Mccarty, DO

This doctor listens better than any one I’ve ever seen. I felt like he actually cared about who I am as a person. I feel so grateful to have discovered Dr. McCarty. He’s as great as they say.

Just wanted to update my review. I first submitted a review 3 years ago. Now I am still very happy with my doctor and I have friends that see him also and really like and trust him

Dr. McCarty listens well to my issues and treats them holistically. He is open to all types of treatments and medicine. I haven't seen a drug rep yet in his office! His follow-up and personal attention are very special.

Told him I had history of high BP and anxiety which he saw in my chart form visiting other NMMC. I had my other doctor prescribe me a weeks worth of Kolonipin which doesnt work for my anxietry and forgot to mention it tohim. He ended up prescribing me a beta blocker and xanax but after I left he checked the pmp and saw I was prescribed a few kolonipin a week prior which I forgot to mention but didnt have but like two left. He canceled my xanax rx because of that. He said I didnt tell the truth but I saw no point in mentioning it when I was almost out.

Dr McCarty took over when my doctor of over 40 years retired he had some big shoes to fill he has done an excellent job he is very kind considerate and helpful and very thorough

I could not have been more pleased. Dr. McCarty was totally excellent. He dealt with my problem well and provided a quick referrel. I highly recommend him with absolutely no reservations.

Waited over two months for a referral that was promised within the week. Never got the referral , although I got a lot of excuses. Not my doctor anymore.
